A sensor that measures human body crosstalk is cool, but a sensor that measures inductance is even cooler in theory.
Measuring the inductance. You take an electronics textbook, take 3 transistors, connect them in a Darlington circuit, collector connected to a lamp from a torch, - to the emitter, + to the other wire of the lamp. When the base is touched the bulb lights up
I wrote "measuring inductance in theory" because in practice I have only made a device in which the pulse generation is knocked off by human proximity. This is a bit different.
