Interesting and Humour - page 4054

Andrey Kisselyov:
...
If we assume that there were no giants, then how come there are so many human skeletons more than 3-5-7 metres tall... tales about giants exist in every nation, we do not know them and have not seen them, so they did not exist... archeologists find them, so they were there... it's all a contradiction.

The giants were Pinocchios. (Don't you believe it? ) See for yourself:a 28 metre sculpture of a human skeleton >>>

Andrey Kisselyov:
You forgot to emphasize"to believe them or not is everyone's business." The evidence that exists on YouTube can be considered a fabrication, forgery, or something else, or you can allow for that possibility.

Respectfully.

Doesn't it seem strange that skeletons of giants are found only on YouTube?

as for tales, when we were kids in pioneer camp we loved to tell various horror stories, that's how all folk tales were born.

PHYSICISTS HAVE REFUTED THE ASSUMPTION THAT THE WORLD AROUND US IS A COMPUTER SIMULATION.

Musk has suggested that our reality may be some kind of Sims for an advanced alien civilisation. In new work, scientists decided to test this hypothesis.

Scientists have tried to create a model of a quantum system (two-dimensional gas with a fractional quantum Hall effect) by classical Monte Carlo methods and found that with increasing number of particles the required computational resources to perform the simulation grew exponentially, not linearly.

If the complexity increased linearly, then a doubling of the number of particles would mean a doubling of the required computational power. But if the complexity grows exponentially, where the amount of computational power must double each time one particle is added, the problem quickly becomes impossible. In such a case, just to store information about several hundreds of electrons would require computer memory, which physically needs more atoms than there are in the Universe.

It is physically impossible to build such a computer, hence fears that we may unknowingly inhabit some giant version of the "Matrix" can be safely dismissed.

That's right. Physically impossible. But the physical plane is only a drop in the sea of existence ))

Andrey Kisselyov:

Myths and legends, I agree that many myths are fairy tales, but are they really tales. In ancient times word of mouth communication was common and the interpreter could add or subtract something of his own, the overall sense of the story retained or could be lost. the further into the forest the more logs, but these facts remain facts. back in the union time lived mermaids, no claim to truth, but there are witnesses, believe them or not everyone can choose. The result of these facts can be concluded, but are all in a fairy tale a myth?
go on, about fairy tales, usually say at the end "a lie lies but a hint in it, a good man a lesson," this suggests that in each work of folk wisdom is the wisdom that we discard and think that this is a foolish delusion or fiction, it is worth reflecting on what exactly in your mind Bible (or tale) that you discard without even trying to understand what it says and most importantly for what purpose.

Man is a social creature (herd), but only few individuals, independent and independent in their reasoning, move this society into the future, changing its life.
this (and not only) is told in the passage I cited from the bible, just one line. he who has an ear, let him hear what the spirit says to the churches.

with respect.

As far back as antiquity there was an idea that the gods and mythical heroes were real historical figures - eugemerism is called (after Eugemer) -

but that doesn't mean you have to interpret myths and legends literally... and you certainly shouldn't believe the Bible literally - compilations and crude borrowings from earlier myths...

What?

The mental experiment with 2-dimensional beings living on different sides of a sheet of paper comes to mind. ))

There were mermaids under the Soviet Union.

I do not claim to be right, but there are eyewitnesses, and it is up to everyone to believe them.
Come
on, about fairy tales, usually say in the end "a tale is a lie, but it hints, a good man a lesson," this suggests that in each piece of folk wisdom is the wisdom that we discard and think that this is a foolish delusion or fiction, it is worth reflecting on what exactly in your understanding the Bible (or fairy tale) that you discard without even trying to understand what it says and most importantly for what purpose.

brilliant!!!

;))))))))

did mermaids live during the Soviet Union, but when the Union collapsed all the mermaids died out? starved to death? or were they shot or deported? or buried somewhere else?

Lyosha, did you come across any mermaids?

as for tales, we loved to tell various horror stories when we were kids in pioneer camp, and all folk tales were born the same way.

there is "official science" and everything that contradicts it is forbidden, this fact has long been known. let's take the hero ilya muromets, a legend, a fairy tale. the church considers him a saint, and official science has found remains of this character. about anachronisms and discrepancies in official science they speak much and sometimes some moments are revised, but this should not be enough for an inquisitive mind.
