Starting capital 2000. Drawdown happened when account was around 2500. Total drawdown around $840 made my human mistake. I've accidently placed an extra chart with different EA as I set the template with another EA earlier. By the time I realized, there is 4 trades initiated by the another EA and heading to huge stop loss. Therefore, account was down to around $1700 and restarted. You can find those drawdown in the statement, those were GBPUSD, has nothing to do with the current EA I'm testing with GBPJPY. The drawdown from this single EA has only been playing with its own profit so far, never really touches the capital though. I've been playing with Martingale/Cost averaging system for half of my trading life, by far this is the longest lasting martingale/cost averaging test I can provide. I dont know about others, is there anybody showing a full year statement?

As I see you started actually with 2 pairs (AUDNZD & GBPJPY) but gave up on AUDNZD after some days.
Do you mind to post your set-file?
Because of this long forward test period I'm very much interested to backtest it with exactly the same settings for comparison reasons.
By that we can get an idea of the differences between forward- and back-tests.
When we know the correlation of these tests we would be able to improve the forward-performance.

EA posted at page #43. Set file do not have 1 because I'm using default. Reason for not using AUDNZD is because that is not the EA I wanted to test. Its the same reason why the test loss $840 with the same EA on GBPUSD, but only difference is AUDNZD make profit with it. Good luck.

Why closed trade?
Wonder if someone can help me by offering an opinion on why my USDCAD trade closed and reversed after L4? I thought a trade would only be closed at TP, when 50% equity hit or the portion allocated blown. Seems none of these occurred.
I started with account size 1000, portion 4 trading the 4 recommended pairs as per the set files. This should mean $250 available for each pair. After a couple of good days my equity was $1480, fantastic. The USDCAD trade then got to 4 levels and -$181.86 and I was expecting the L5 trade to kick in but instead got the 4 levels closed and a new buy L1 entered. Not at all what I expected.
My one clue is that the 'Total risk on account' on each pair is reported at 13% which is close to lining up with the -$181. No idea how the 13% arises but I'll look through the code.
Other than TP, 50% equity or portion blown is there another point at which a trade exits?

KnoxyIt is because of 50% equity hit.
Now your equity is 1480, each portion gets $370, so 50% equity protection for each pair would equal to $185.
It is 50% equity protection for each portion, not on total account equity.

Guidance on using Blessing 2
Dear Friends,
new to this mature EA, I tested it on a demo for a while. Happy with the results I went live but kept the demo running.
The two instances are doing the opposite (and as is normal, the live version.. not in my favour).
I realease that this is because when I started the EA the bid price has skiped above the 100MA so orders were long. EU is falling ....
While I suspect this will reverse today
you can imagine how my stomach feels.
Question:
1. has anyone written up "some guidance" on when to start the EA (e.g. chart the 100MA, look at candle, set MC value ?
2. if I set the MC value based on my own analysis/bias will this get reset in future trades should the conditions change (i.e. price 100MA)?

EP Did Not Close Out All The Trades!!!

Maybe you can look into this and help me understand why EP did not close out all of the trades.
I'm using Blessing 2 V 5.1 on IBFX regular account trading 2 pairs with 50% EP. The initial deposit was 5K. Recently the MM feature began trading 0.02 lots. On Friday, I decided to add a third pair and change the portion on all three charts to 3. My balance on Fri was 7,526. I already had open positions in EUR/USD with the starting lot of 0.02, 0.04, 0.08, 0.11 before the weekend. Last night, there were more positions added and when EUR went lower this morning some of my positions were closed out and new ones put on.
I know that by changing the portion on an already established position is the reason why EP occurred but I can't understand why the entire position was not closed out as this was supposed to be fixed in version 5.1

Only stop orders no limit orders
I was wondering if anybody else is having a problem with Blessing 5.2 only opening stop orders and no limit orders.
