What this version is doing is using the pips setting, as Ea opens a buy trade, it goes aganist you 20 pips the Ea should open another trade, with a new take profit the original take profit + 20 pips to keep the original take profit,if it still goes aganist the original trade another 20 pips the Ea should open another buy but this time the take profit is same as original but +40 pips and etc.. By default the take profit is 10 pips and lot increase is also default at 1.

So, I am trading 4 accounts (Metatraders) - 1 of them is not connected with stats website 9we can use it to select the pairs to trade), and the other 3 are connected with stats website.

I created the next one 2 days ago (5th). It is the same as

10points_3_Smi_1.01 EA,

FXCM broker,

2,000 dollar initial deposit.

USDJPY only.

Martingale.

but for Alpari broker, and with 500 dollar initial deposit.

Just for information.

Hi Phoenix,

First of all make sure the Ea is in experts folder, make sure you have allow live trading, enable experts, allow dll's, and allow Ea exports checked when you put Ea on a chart should get a smiley, also load Newdigitals set file. If still no trade check the journal tab on your terminal to see if you are getting any errors, that's all i can think of right now.

Hi there,

What is the theory behind this EA?

What is the Money management suggestion for this when done manually?

If you have $10k account, what lot size is suggested for opening?

Thanks

Hi tonynz,

This systemEA was improved for many years with a lot of versions.

It is what azmel was writing on some thread 2 years ago:

From newdigital's statement, I count there are a total of 0.63 lots open at approx 9.46am on April 29th. Based on Alpari's 1:100 leverage account, that equates to a margin of 630.

So, by taking the drawdown figure recorded by the AccountEquityAnalyzer, the margin level at that time is approx 819%

In summary, the EA is still quite safe with the $5000 deposit.

Different brokers set different levels for margin calls. I'm not sure about Alpari, but let's just say that margin call occurs when the level drops below 50%. So by doing some math, we can now calculate that: should the account started with anything less than $1556.47, then on April 29th at 9.46am, the account will hit margin call.

So based on the four months forward-test by newdigital, do not start with anything lower than $1556.47 when using the same setup.

But of course, this is just based on four months forward-test and assuming that the April 29th incident is the worst-case-scenario. But, we don't know what will happen in the future, and things can get worst. Therefore, we should keep forward testing this EA for at least one year, and by then we can safely say what should be the safe minimum deposit for this EA trading on 11 pairs.

For now - we are having more versions of this EA created by MrTools for example and those versions are more safe. You can look at my forward testing results (updating automatically on this thread) - I am using just 1 simultanious pair only. You can monitor it concerning which account will survive for the long time.

I am forward testing martingale and non-martingale versions of this EA.

As to original idea for this system and trading it manually - look at those links (but please note that the links below are related to old versions of this EA and it is basicly about original idea for this system):

semi-automatic method of trading by EA: from this page till this page. Original version for semi-automatic trading is 10p3v0.0321 EA. The new version for semi-automatic trading is 10p3v0.0331 EA (download from this post with the explanation) - the user can select between MACD or TrandScalp strategies.

- how EA works: this page and explanation of the settings on this page. More detailed explanation from the author wirh links to download is on this post.

- Good explanation from the author of those versions (davidke20) is on this post.

sadly when acc. usd3k running on EU pair was mc.

maybe usd3k is small scale for capital for running martingale ea, so can we start again with double acc. (usd6k).

I think that more secure is to run this EA on USDJPY - just look at my few previous posts.

----------

USDJPY is the best pair to trade: less risky, small drawdown and small maxmum lot size.

This pair made 80 pips this week by 2 trades: 0.01 lot size and 0.02 lot size, with very small drawdown.

And FXCM broker is better than Alpari for this EA. By the way - Alpari is also good

Some pairs are profitable in pips calculation. It means that it will be profitable in case of fix lot size with no any martingale.

Just about p/l in 4 digit pips since the beginning of the trading (14 august)

EURCHF: 3373

EURJPY: -1224

EURUSD: -309

USDCHF: 642

USDJPY: 1815
