Array X Gold Flash - Broker, account and VPS: get it right from day one

Getting the account right decides a large part of what you will see. This page lists what Array X Gold Flash needs.


1. Account
- MetaTrader 5, Hedging account (Netting is not supported).
- ECN / RAW / Low Spread account.
- Leverage 1:500 on gold recommended; lower leverage needs more free margin, because a basket holds several positions.
- Standard and cent accounts are both supported.

2. Symbol
Any broker's gold: XAUUSD, XAUUSD.a, XAUUSDm, GOLD and similar. Put the EA on the gold chart itself, timeframe M5 (the timeframe of all our tests; the EA reads its own timeframes, so another chart timeframe does not change its trades).

3. Capital
- Low: 1,000 USD minimum, 2,300 USD or more recommended. Medium 1,500 USD, High 1,200 USD. Boost: 300 USD minimum, 600 USD or more recommended.
- Backtest the EA with your own capital and risk level first.
- Start a real account on Low. Try higher levels on demo first.
- Next to Array Breakout X Gold: add this on top of what you keep for X Gold.

4. VPS
Use a VPS close to your broker's server (ping under 10 ms if you can). MetaTrader's own VPS (Navigator > your account > Register a virtual server) picks the data centre nearest to your broker.

5. Before you trade real money
Run it on a demo account of the same broker for a few weeks.
