Array Breakout — Start here: read this before judging the results after one or two weeks
This page is written for anyone who has just installed the EA, or is deciding whether to. It covers three things: what you should see on day one, what looks strange but is normal, and how to judge the results the right way.
---
1. Day one: what you should see
After dragging the EA onto a gold H1 chart and switching on Algo Trading, look at the Experts tab at the bottom. Within a few seconds you should see these three lines:
- the first line gives the version, account and symbol the EA is running on (the same version number is also shown on the chart panel)
- a line giving the account type — standard or cent — as the EA detected it by itself
- a ladder line saying how many strategies your current balance opens, and what balance unlocks the next one
If you attached the EA while the Algo Trading button was still off, there is no need to remove and re-attach it — the EA is waiting, and places its orders the moment you switch the button on.
If Telegram is switched on, one Connected message arrives straight away. If it arrives, the channel works. If it does not, the Experts tab tells you why (usually the Telegram URL has not yet been allowed in the terminal — see page 3).
On the panel, strategies are listed in the order the capital ladder opens them. The top rows show READY or PENDING; rows your balance has not reached yet show UNLOCK BALANCE with the balance that has to be reached. That is not an error — that is the capital ladder doing its job.
---
2. Things that look strange but are normal
No trades for several days — normal. Each strategy waits for price to break its own key level; none of them trades every day. In a quiet market the whole team can wait for days at the same time.
Pending orders far from price — normal. Some strategies watch the large levels of a long timeframe, so their orders sit hundreds of points away from the current price. They have a limited lifetime and are placed again by themselves at the latest level.
Many cancelled orders in the history — normal. Those are pending orders that price did not reach within the set time; the system cancels them and places them again. It costs nothing. The trades that count as real trades are only the entries in the Deals table.
A pending order disappears by itself and comes back — normal. If other trades opened first and used the margin, the EA withdraws any pending order the account could not carry, and places it again when enough margin is free.
No new trades around a major announcement — normal. The EA steps aside by itself; trades already open carry on to their own stop and target.
No alert messages at all, although there are pending orders — normal. Live messages are sent only when a trade actually opens and when it closes, not for pending orders.
All pending orders vanish the moment the EA is removed — normal and intended. The EA withdraws all of its own pending orders in under a second when it is removed from the chart; open trades are not touched and keep their SL/TP. Always remove the EA while the Algo Trading button is still on. If it is removed with the button off, the pending orders stay behind, and the EA raises an alert telling you how to delete them all in one click.

3. One or two weeks tells you nothing yet
This is a breakout system. In months when gold trends, the team makes money. In months when gold is stuck in a range, the team gets faked out several times and takes several small losses in a row. All of this can happen over a short stretch and none of it means the system is broken:
- several losses in a row
- a losing week
- some strategies negative while others are positive
- a bad month followed by a good one
The real risk of this system is how many range months arrive in a row — not a single big news event, and not a single week.
---
4. What the history shows, and what it does not
We tested on real ticks one calendar year at a time for 11 years (2016 to August 2026), every year starting again from 1,000 USD, the balance that opens the whole team, at 0.01 lot — every year ended in profit.
In one continuous run from 2016 to 2026 on the product's default settings, the deepest stretch was equity falling 21.5% (500 USD, fixed lot) and 24.2% (1,000 USD, Auto lot) below its peak. The full figures are on the product page.
Backtests are evidence, not a promise. The market ahead need not look like the last ten years, and live trading has slippage, commission and server response time that the tester does not, so live results differ from test results.
Buyers receive every Strategy Tester report file in full, to open in their own MetaTrader 5 and check trade by trade.

5. Live results have losing stretches too
The live signal is open to the public: https://www.mql5.com/en/signals/2393304
In the signal you will see both winning and losing trades, both good weeks and bad weeks. We do not hide the losing stretches, because they are part of every breakout system.
---
6. How to judge it the right way
- Judge it in months, not days.
- Compare with the yearly test files. Has the stretch you are in happened before? Is it worse or better than the deepest one?
- Do not close trades by hand. A manual close breaks that strategy's exit logic, and the result is no longer the system's result.
- Do not push the lot beyond what the capital can carry. Let the capital ladder and Auto lot do their work.
- If something looks wrong, send the Experts and Journal logs for that day in a private message. Every decision the EA makes has a line explaining it in the log.
---
7. After you buy, message us
Send a private message on MQL5 after purchase and you will receive:
- every test report file in full
- the complete manual
