ROBUSTEDGE QBLR — USER MANUAL & QUICK START GUIDE

RobustEdge QBLR is an automated trading system developed for the Nasdaq-100 on MetaTrader 5.

The EA uses a rule-based, multi-condition approach to identify trading opportunities while keeping risk management, execution discipline and capital protection at the center of the system.

This guide explains how to install, configure and operate RobustEdge QBLR correctly.

========================================
1. RECOMMENDED SETUP
========================================

Platform: MetaTrader 5
Market: Nasdaq-100 CFD
Reference Symbol: US100
Timeframe: M1
Default Base Risk: 0.75%
Auto Broker Time: ON
Dashboard: ON

Different brokers use different names for the Nasdaq-100.

QBLR recognizes common symbol names containing:

• US100
• NAS100
• USTEC
• NASDAQ
• NDX

Broker prefixes or suffixes may also be compatible when one of these identifiers is contained in the symbol name.

IMPORTANT:

For your first installation, it is recommended that you leave QBLR at its DEFAULT SETTINGS.

========================================
2. INSTALLATION
========================================

1. Install RobustEdge QBLR from your MQL5 Market purchases.

2. Open MetaTrader 5.

3. Open your broker's Nasdaq-100 chart.

4. Set the chart timeframe to M1.

5. Attach RobustEdge QBLR to the chart.

6. Leave the default settings unchanged initially.

7. Make sure Algo Trading is enabled in MetaTrader 5.

8. Confirm that the QBLR dashboard appears on the chart.

QBLR should now begin monitoring the market.

The EA does NOT need to open a trade immediately. It will wait until its required trading conditions are satisfied.

========================================
3. DEFAULT RISK — 0.75%
========================================

The default base risk is:

0.75%

QBLR also uses adaptive condition-based position sizing.

Depending on the quality of a valid setup, the EA can internally classify an opportunity as:

WEAK
NORMAL
STRONG

This can result in approximately:

Weak setup: 0.375%
Normal setup: 0.750%
Strong setup: 0.938%

when the base risk is set to 0.75%.

Therefore, different QBLR trades may use different position sizes.

THIS IS NORMAL.

Position size also depends on factors such as the required stop distance and the trading specifications of your broker.

========================================
4. LOWER-RISK SETTINGS
========================================

Users who prefer lower exposure may reduce the Base Risk.

Examples:

0.50% — moderately conservative
0.25% — conservative
0.15% — very conservative

New users are encouraged to test QBLR thoroughly before considering any increase above the default risk.

Increasing risk can substantially increase drawdown and losses as well as potential returns.

========================================
5. HOW QBLR TRADES
========================================

QBLR does not enter the market simply because price is moving.

It evaluates multiple conditions before accepting a trade.

The strategy considers factors including:

• Market direction
• Price structure
• Momentum
• Volatility
• Volume
• Spread conditions
• Higher-timeframe bias
• Continuation quality
• Retest quality
• Current market regime

QBLR contains two primary entry concepts.

OPEN BURST

Designed to identify qualifying momentum opportunities during the earlier portion of the active trading session.

LATE RETEST

Designed to identify qualifying opportunities after a controlled pullback/retest rather than simply chasing an extended move.

A potential trade can therefore be rejected even when the market appears active.

This selectivity is intentional.

========================================
6. NO TRADE IS NORMAL
========================================

QBLR is NOT designed to force trades.

There may be sessions where the EA does not find an acceptable opportunity.

If the dashboard is active and QBLR is scanning the market, the absence of a trade does not necessarily indicate a problem.

The system is designed to wait for its required conditions.

========================================
7. STOP LOSS & POSITION PROTECTION
========================================

Every QBLR trade uses a protective stop loss.

The stop is determined using the structure and volatility of the setup.

Users should normally allow QBLR to manage the stop automatically.

Manually changing the stop loss can alter the intended risk profile and interfere with the strategy's trade-management logic.

========================================
8. MULTI-LEVEL PROFIT MANAGEMENT
========================================

QBLR uses staged profit management rather than relying solely on one fixed take-profit level.

The internal reference levels are approximately:

TP1:
+0.50R
Approximately 40% of the position

TP2:
+1.00R
Approximately 30% of the position

TP3:
+1.60R
Approximately 20% of the position

The remaining position can continue to be managed dynamically.

Because of partial exits, one QBLR trading campaign can appear as multiple deals in MetaTrader 5.

This is normal.

========================================
9. BREAK-EVEN PROTECTION
========================================

As a profitable trade develops, QBLR can progressively protect the position.

This includes break-even management.

You may therefore see the stop loss move toward the entry price or beyond it.

This is part of the normal QBLR trade-management process.

========================================
10. TRAILING STOP
========================================

Once sufficient profit develops, QBLR can activate dynamic trailing protection.

The purpose of the trailing system is to protect accumulated profit while still allowing the trade room to continue.

A profitable trade can therefore close before reaching its furthest profit target if the market reverses.

This is normal.

========================================
11. EARLY FAILURE PROTECTION
========================================

QBLR also contains an early-failure mechanism.

If a new position behaves poorly shortly after entry, the EA can close the trade before the original full stop loss is reached.

This is designed to reduce exposure to trades that quickly fail to behave as expected.

========================================
12. MAXIMUM HOLDING PERIOD
========================================

QBLR is an intraday trading system.

The strategy includes a maximum reference holding period of approximately 45 minutes.

QBLR is therefore not designed to leave its normal trading campaigns open indefinitely.

========================================
13. RISK & MARGIN PROTECTION
========================================

Before opening a position, QBLR evaluates the required position size and available margin.

If adequate margin is not available, the EA can reject the trade rather than knowingly submitting an unsuitable order.

QBLR does not rely on martingale position doubling or grid averaging as its core trading method.

Each trading campaign is independently evaluated.

========================================
14. AUTO BROKER TIME
========================================

Recommended setting:

Auto Broker Time = TRUE

Brokers use different server times.

QBLR contains automatic broker-time handling to help align its trading session with the intended market period.

Most users should leave this feature enabled.

========================================
15. DASHBOARD
========================================

QBLR includes an on-chart dashboard.

The dashboard provides information about the EA and its current operating state, including information such as:

• Trading status
• Symbol
• Base risk
• Balance
• Equity
• Floating P/L
• Drawdown
• Active position status
• Protection status

Some common messages include:

SCANNING

QBLR is active and searching for a valid opportunity.

MARKET FILTER ACTIVE

One or more strategy conditions currently prevent an entry.

This is normal.

POSITION ACTIVE

QBLR currently has an open position that it is managing.

TRADING DISABLED

Live trading is disabled in the QBLR settings.

WRONG SYMBOL

QBLR does not recognize the attached chart as a supported Nasdaq-100 symbol.

MT5 ALGO OFF

Enable Algo Trading in MetaTrader 5.

EA TRADE PERMISSION OFF

Trading permission for the EA is disabled.

EQUITY FLOOR

The optional equity protection is preventing new entries.

========================================
16. WHAT SHOULD A BEGINNER CHANGE?
========================================

For the first deployment, preferably nothing except Base Risk if a lower risk level is desired.

Recommended first setup:

Nasdaq-100
M1
0.75% Base Risk
Auto Broker Time ON
Dashboard ON
Other settings DEFAULT

QBLR's internal strategy settings should generally be left unchanged unless you understand the effect of the modification.

========================================
17. OPTIONAL EQUITY FLOOR
========================================

QBLR contains an optional account-equity protection feature.

This feature is disabled by default.

Advanced users can configure an equity floor that prevents new QBLR entries when account equity falls below a specified value.

An additional option can close an active QBLR position when the configured equity floor is reached.

Most first-time users should leave these options at their defaults.

========================================
18. WHY HAS QBLR NOT TRADED?
========================================

If QBLR has not opened a trade, check the following:

• Correct Nasdaq-100 symbol
• M1 chart
• Algo Trading enabled
• QBLR live trading enabled
• Dashboard active
• Market is open
• Spread is acceptable
• No account trading restriction
• No equity-floor restriction

If everything is operating normally and QBLR is scanning, WAIT.

The strategy may simply not have found a qualifying setup.

QBLR is designed to filter opportunities rather than manufacture trades.

========================================
19. CAN I USE QBLR ON GOLD, EURUSD OR OTHER MARKETS?
========================================

The commercial strategy is designed for the Nasdaq-100 environment.

Users should not assume that results obtained on unrelated instruments represent supported QBLR performance.

The recommended environment remains:

Nasdaq-100
M1

========================================
20. BACKTESTING
========================================

Users are encouraged to test QBLR before live deployment.

For a meaningful test, use the MetaTrader 5 Strategy Tester.

Recommended configuration:

Symbol:
Your broker's Nasdaq-100 CFD

Timeframe:
M1

Model:
Every tick based on real ticks, when available

Base Risk:
0.75%

Auto Broker Time:
TRUE

Results can differ between brokers.

Differences may result from:

• Tick history
• Spread
• Commission
• Contract specifications
• Broker server time
• Execution
• Slippage
• Trading sessions
• Margin requirements

Identical results between brokers should not be expected.

========================================
21. HISTORICAL REFERENCE TEST
========================================

One historical reference test of the commercial strategy used:

Instrument: US100
Timeframe: M1
Testing model: Real ticks
Period: January 1, 2026 to September 9, 2026
Initial deposit: $10,116
Base Risk: 0.75%

Approximate final balance:
$13,142

These results are HISTORICAL STRATEGY TESTER RESULTS.

They are not live trading results and are not a prediction or guarantee of future performance.

Different market conditions and trading environments can produce materially different results.

========================================
22. FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
========================================

Q: Does QBLR trade every day?

A: No. QBLR only trades when its required conditions are satisfied.

Q: Can QBLR buy and sell?

A: Yes. The strategy can evaluate qualifying opportunities in either direction.

Q: Why did QBLR close only part of my position?

A: QBLR uses staged profit-taking. Partial exits are normal.

Q: Why did my stop move toward my entry price?

A: QBLR's break-even protection activated.

Q: Why did my profitable trade close before TP3?

A: Dynamic trailing or another trade-management rule may have protected the position.

Q: Why was my lot size different from the previous trade?

A: Position size depends on risk, stop distance and QBLR's adaptive setup classification.

Q: Does 0.75% always mean exactly 0.75%?

A: No. It is the BASE risk. QBLR can adjust actual exposure according to its internal setup classification.

Q: Should I manually manage QBLR trades?

A: Normally no. QBLR is designed to manage its own positions.

Q: Can I manually change the stop loss?

A: It is possible, but doing so changes the intended trade-management behavior and is generally not recommended.

Q: Can I use a VPS?

A: Yes. A stable MT5-compatible VPS can be useful for automated trading because the EA can continue operating without relying on a home computer remaining online.

========================================
