Franc lower after Swiss CPI comes in higher than expected

The franc showed mixed trading against its key peers after the release of Switzerland's consumer prices for October at 3:15 am ET Thursday.

In a report, Swiss Federal Statistical Office said that Swiss consumer price inflation rose to a seasonally adjusted 0.1%, from 0.1% in the preceding month.

Economists had expected Swiss consumer price inflation to remain unchanged at 0.0% last month.

USD/CHF last traded up 0.27% at 0.9960.

EUR/CHF added 0.29% to trade at 1.0825.
