With regard to how many reliable and interesting news nowadays circulate within social networks, the discussion of finance on Twitter is sounding more and more mature these days. The social media site is now home to some of the fastest sophisticated analysis available on the web.
If you know where to look, there are some very solid accounts owned by banks, investment firms and research houses tweeting out some of the same research on markets and economics as they email to their clients.
The list that follows was assembled by polling quite a few of the Journal’s most Twitter-conscious reporters and editors on three continents, but it is by no means exhaustive, includes no individuals, and is bound to be missing some useful names.
