SMC Nexus Supply Demand

Supply and demand zones for MetaTrader 5, with zone-touch alerts. SMC Nexus Supply Demand finds swing highs and lows on the current timeframe and turns them into supply and demand zones sized by volatility (ATR). Every zone carries a point-of-interest (POI) mid-line, a broken zone leaves a short POI history line, and an alert tells you when price comes back to a zone.
Everything is calculated on closed bars: once a bar has closed, the zones, breaks and alerts on it do not change.
What you get
- Supply / Demand zones — a swing high confirmed by N bars on each side starts a supply zone at the high; a swing low starts a demand zone at the low. Zone height = ATR(200) × Box thickness / 10, so zones scale with the volatility of the market.
- No stacking — a new zone is skipped when an active zone of the same side sits within 2 × ATR of it. Up to 8 active zones per side (adjustable); the oldest goes first.
- POI mid-line — a dotted line through the middle of every zone.
- Broken zones — a zone is removed when a bar closes beyond its far edge; its mid-line can stay on the chart as a short dotted POI history line (up to 20, adjustable).
- Zone-touch alerts — "Demand touch" or "Supply touch" when a bar's high/low range enters a zone after being outside it. Terminal popup, push notification, sound or email.
- Light and dark themes — Auto follows your chart background; Light and Dark also recolour the chart itself.
- Real transparency — zone fills are drawn on a canvas layer, so candles stay readable underneath.
How alerts behave
An alert is checked only when a bar closes — never on the forming bar and never on history, so attaching the indicator does not fire a burst of old alerts. A zone born while price is already inside it waits for price to leave and come back. A minimum gap between alerts (30 seconds by default, per event) stops repeats. Message example: Supply Demand EURUSD,H1: Demand touch @ 1.08452 — the price is the zone's mid-line.
When a zone appears
A swing is confirmed only after Swing length bars (8 by default) have closed on its right side. So a zone appears on the chart that many bars after its pivot and is anchored at the pivot bar. From then on it does not move.
For EA developers: iCustom
Four buffers, filled over the whole history (read shift 1 and older; the forming bar is not written):
- 0 — Supply Top: top of the nearest active supply zone, 0 if none
- 1 — Supply Bottom
- 2 — Demand Top: top of the nearest active demand zone, 0 if none
- 3 — Demand Bottom
"Nearest" is the active zone whose mid-line is closest to the bar's close. Drawing and alerts can be switched off by inputs when an EA only needs the data.
Settings highlights

- Zone, POI and label colours; fill opacity and outline.
- Keep broken zones as POI history lines, and how many.
- Theme — Auto / Light / Dark.
- Alert delivery — popup, push (needs a MetaQuotes ID in the terminal), sound, email (needs SMTP); bar close time prefix; minimum gap between alerts.
- Object prefix — change it if two copies run on one chart.
Works on any symbol and timeframe. What it does not do: no other timeframes on the chart, no buy or sell signals, no trade management.
