Trading Approach
The EA is based on session range and breakout concept. It identifies price ranges during major market sessions and uses pending orders for execution. It includes range validation and trend filter to filter entries. The EA trades with single order per session logic.
Position management includes partial close, break-even and trailing based on range size. Pending orders have expiration time linked to session close.
Risk Management
The EA uses fixed risk per trade with maximum lot limit. It includes daily drawdown protection and total drawdown protection based on initial deposit. It checks spread, open risk exposure and free margin before placing orders.
It includes news filter for high impact USD news. The news filter is disabled in strategy tester.
Dashboard
The EA includes a dashboard with on, off and hide modes. The dashboard shows balance, equity, profit and loss, risk per trade, open risk, daily drawdown and total drawdown with visual progress bars. It shows session status, entry levels, stop loss and take profit levels, lot size, trades today, trend direction, spread and ping, server time and countdown.
Range boxes are shown for visual reference with different colors for each session. Dashboard updates every 2 seconds.
Safety Features
The EA includes stops-level adjustment, broker synchronization, state recovery after restart and professional logging.
Backtest Information
Backtest was performed on XAUUSD, M5, period 2025.01.01 to 2026.08.14, deposit 15000 USD, leverage 1:100, modelling every tick based on real ticks with 100 ms delay.

The EA provides inputs for magic number, risk mode, fixed risk amount, risk percent, daily and total loss percent, slippage, max risk per session, max and min lot, compounding, margin safety ratio, range filter mode, range limits, ATR period and timeframe and multipliers, session enable and time settings, take profit multipliers, partial close ratio, pending buffer, max spread, single order per session, trend filter period and timeframe, break-even and trailing settings, news filter settings, range box display and colors, dashboard display and update time.
A set file with default values is provided.
Installation
Attach the EA to XAUUSD M5 chart. Load the set file. Enable algorithmic trading. The dashboard will appear on chart. It is recommended to test on demo account first.
