RAPTOR GOLD PREDATOR
RAPTOR GOLD PREDATOR is a MetaTrader 5 Expert Advisor developed for traders who prefer selective Gold trading opportunities around failed breakouts, structural rejection, and controlled market reversals.
The system does not enter merely because price is moving strongly.
Before authorizing a position, RAPTOR evaluates the relevant market structure, rejection behavior, directional confirmation, spread, execution readiness, account conditions, broker permissions, and position ownership.
The Expert Advisor can evaluate both Buy and Sell opportunities.
RAPTOR is designed primarily for Gold trading, including XAUUSD and broker-specific Gold symbol variations containing the XAUUSD identity.
The internal trading blueprint, complete calculation structure, proprietary thresholds, and strategy sequencing are not disclosed publicly.
━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
CORE TRADING CONCEPT
RAPTOR focuses on market situations where price appears to break an important area but fails to maintain acceptance beyond that area.
The system then evaluates whether the rejection and subsequent price behavior provide sufficient evidence for a controlled reversal opportunity.
A position is permitted only when the complete strategy, market, spread, ownership, protection, and execution requirements are satisfied.
RAPTOR may remain in a waiting state for an extended period when no complete setup is available.
It is not designed to trade every candle or continuously chase market movement.
━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
ENTRY ACTIVITY PROFILES
RAPTOR provides three selectable Entry Activity Profiles:
AGGRESSIVE
Designed for higher potential trading activity while retaining the primary structural, execution, ownership, news, daily-control, and protection requirements.
MEDIUM
Provides a balanced combination of setup selectivity and potential trading activity.
TIGHT
Uses more selective market qualification and may produce fewer potential trading opportunities.
A more active profile does not guarantee better trading performance.
The selected Entry Activity Profile changes the strictness and potential frequency of setup qualification. It does not disable the principal strategy, broker-safety, ownership, or protection authorities.
━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
INDEPENDENT STOP LOSS AND TAKE PROFIT HORIZONS
RAPTOR provides separate controls for Stop Loss and Take Profit.
STOP LOSS HORIZON
• Short
• Medium
• Long
TAKE PROFIT HORIZON
• Short
• Medium
• Long
Stop Loss and Take Profit are controlled independently.
Selecting a different Take Profit Horizon does not change the selected Stop Loss Horizon.
Each Stop Loss Horizon uses its own predefined fixed Stop Loss distance.
The Stop Loss is not recalculated through broker-dependent adaptive risk formulas.
The Take Profit is controlled separately through the selected Take Profit Horizon and remains part of the original position plan.
━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
PREDEFINED FIXED STOP LOSS POLICY
Birdie uses a predefined fixed Stop Loss distance to maintain consistent and transparent trading behavior across different broker environments.
Each Stop Loss Horizon applies its own predefined fixed-distance profile.
The fixed-distance approach is designed to keep the protection engine deterministic, auditable, predictable, and easier to evaluate without broker-dependent adaptive Stop Loss calculations.
Broker spreads, execution conditions, symbol specifications, tick values, contract details, price digits, commissions, stop levels, freeze levels, and available liquidity may vary.
Because of these differences, monetary risk, execution availability, transaction cost, slippage, and actual trading results can differ between brokers and accounts even when the same EA settings are used.
Broker stop-level and freeze-level restrictions are treated as execution gates. They do not authorize RAPTOR to silently widen the selected predefined Stop Loss distance.
A trade request may therefore wait or be rejected when the selected protection cannot be placed under the current broker conditions.
Users remain responsible for selecting an appropriate lot size and testing the resulting monetary risk on their own broker before enabling live execution.
━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
INITIAL POSITION PROTECTION
Every authorized opening request is prepared with an initial Stop Loss and Take Profit.
The initial Stop Loss uses the predefined fixed distance associated with the selected Stop Loss Horizon.
The Take Profit is controlled independently through the selected Take Profit Horizon.
The Take Profit is treated as immutable after the position has been confirmed.
RAPTOR uses terminal-confirmed position information as its primary lifecycle truth and does not rely only on temporary request values or internal assumptions.
If initial protection is missing or cannot be confirmed, the EA performs controlled recovery and reconciliation attempts.
A position that remains unprotected beyond the accepted safety limits may be handled by the emergency protection authority.
━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
ONE-STAGE PROFIT LOCK 40/30
RAPTOR uses a restart-safe one-stage Profit Lock system.
When favorable price progress reaches approximately 40% of the confirmed Entry-to-Take-Profit path, one Stop Loss update becomes due at approximately the +30% progress level.
Once Profit Lock becomes due, the state remains latched even if price temporarily retraces.
The requested update must be confirmed through terminal position readback.
Temporary stop-level restrictions, freeze levels, unavailable ticks, trade-context contention, execution delays, transport uncertainty, or delayed terminal readback are treated as waiting and reconciliation conditions.
They do not automatically authorize an unnecessary forced close.
Profit Lock is not a continuously moving trailing stop.
There are no progressive or multi-stage trailing steps after the confirmed Profit Lock update.
━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
PARTIAL CLOSE 50/50
Partial Close is managed independently from Profit Lock.
When favorable price progress reaches approximately 50% of the confirmed Entry-to-Take-Profit path, RAPTOR may close 50% of the eligible position volume.
Partial Close remains subject to:
• Broker minimum volume
• Broker maximum volume
• Volume step
• Current position volume
• Account mode
• Symbol permissions
• Available liquidity
• Market execution conditions
• Terminal confirmation
If the requested partial volume is not valid under the broker’s specifications, RAPTOR follows its reconciliation and safety rules rather than repeatedly sending an invalid request.
Initial protection, Profit Lock, and Partial Close operations are serialized to reduce conflicting position-management requests.
━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
POSITION FAILURE AND EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT
RAPTOR includes position-failure and emergency-management controls.
The system may evaluate whether the original directional or structural trade condition has become invalid after a position has been opened.
Emergency management may also respond to unresolved missing protection or other accepted lifecycle failures.
Position-closing decisions use current terminal information, market information, broker permissions, and confirmed position ownership.
A temporary spread increase, unavailable market data, transport delay, or unconfirmed internal state does not automatically authorize an unnecessary position close.
All closing operations remain subject to broker execution requirements and terminal confirmation.
━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
ENTRY AND MARKET SAFETY CONTROLS
RAPTOR includes multiple controls designed to prevent unsuitable or unauthorized entries:
• New-entry enable or disable control
• Live-execution authorization
• One owned-position authority
• Symbol and Magic Number ownership
• Fixed-lot validation
• Maximum spread protection
• Daily entry cap
• Optional daily monetary target
• High-impact USD news entry protection when calendar information is available
• Weekend market-close entry protection
• Post-event entry freeze
• Symbol trading-mode validation
• Market-order permission validation
• Account trading-permission validation
• Broker volume validation
• Directional volume validation
• Stop-level validation
• Freeze-level validation
• Margin validation
• Filling-mode validation
• OrderCheck validation before execution
• Foreign same-symbol position protection for Netting accounts
News, weekend, daily-limit, monetary-target, and post-event controls block new entries only.
Management of an existing RAPTOR-owned position remains active while new entries are blocked.
Calendar transport unavailability is reported as an audit condition and does not alter the genuine strategy signal path.

ACCOUNT COMPATIBILITY AND OWNERSHIP
RAPTOR is designed to operate in both Hedging and Netting account environments, subject to broker support and symbol specifications.
On Hedging accounts, RAPTOR manages only positions matching its symbol and Magic Number ownership.
On Netting accounts, RAPTOR blocks a new entry when another strategy or a manually opened position already owns the same symbol’s net position.
This protection is intended to prevent RAPTOR from unintentionally merging with, reducing, reversing, or taking control of a foreign same-symbol position.
Each independent RAPTOR installation should use a unique Magic Number.
━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
RECOMMENDED INSTALLATION
Platform
MetaTrader 5
Primary instrument
XAUUSD or a broker-specific Gold symbol variation containing the XAUUSD identity
Operating timeframe
The internal strategy authority uses M5 market data.
Initial evaluation should be performed on an M5 Gold chart.
Suggested initial volume
A conservative fixed lot appropriate for the account balance, leverage, broker contract specification, and selected Stop Loss Horizon.
Installation procedure:
-
Install RAPTOR on the intended Gold chart.
-
Confirm that algorithmic trading is permitted in MetaTrader 5.
-
Select the preferred Entry Activity Profile.
-
Select the Stop Loss Horizon.
-
Select the Take Profit Horizon.
-
Set an appropriate Fixed Lot Size.
-
Verify the Maximum Spread setting for the broker.
-
Keep Send Live Orders disabled during initial installation and observation.
-
Test the EA in the Strategy Tester and on a demo account.
-
Enable Send Live Orders only after confirming that the settings, symbol specifications, transaction costs, and resulting monetary risk are acceptable.
A stable VPS may be beneficial for continuous operation, but it does not improve strategy performance or guarantee uninterrupted broker execution.
━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
IMPORTANT OPERATING NOTES
• RAPTOR does not guarantee immediate or frequent trades.
• The EA may remain in a waiting state when the complete structural rejection and execution conditions are not available.
• Tight settings generally produce fewer potential trading opportunities.
• Aggressive settings may increase potential activity but may also accept less selective market conditions.
• A confirmed setup does not guarantee that price will move in the expected direction.
• The predefined Stop Loss distance remains fixed according to the selected Stop Loss Horizon.
• The selected Stop Loss is not automatically widened to satisfy changing spread, volatility, structure, stop-level, or freeze-level conditions.
• A broker restriction can prevent an otherwise valid trade from being opened.
• Monetary risk may differ because broker specifications, symbol settings, spreads, commissions, tick values, contract details, price digits, swaps, and execution conditions are not identical.
• Backtest results do not guarantee identical forward-test or live-account results.
• Trading performance depends on the selected settings, market regime, broker conditions, account balance, leverage, and position size.
• Users remain responsible for selecting an appropriate lot size and overall account risk.
━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
TECHNICAL AND PRIVACY POLICY
RAPTOR does not require:
• DLL files
• WebRequest access
• External websites
• External signal services
• External account authorization
• CSV export
• External data files
• Third-party libraries outside the standard MetaTrader 5 environment
Terminal Global Variable persistence may be used during normal terminal operation to support restart-safe lifecycle management.
Strategy Tester runs use isolated in-memory persistence so one tester pass does not inherit RAPTOR lifecycle state from another test or from a live terminal session.
The Strategy Tester uses the genuine RAPTOR strategy and position-management path. It does not use synthetic entries, forced validation orders, or fake historical trades.
━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
RECOMMENDED EVALUATION
RAPTOR should initially be evaluated using:
• MetaTrader 5 Strategy Tester
• Visual testing
• Demo forward testing
• Conservative fixed-lot sizing
• Stable broker conditions
• A unique Magic Number
• Sufficient free margin
Live trading should only be considered after the user understands the product settings and has independently evaluated the resulting risk.

No Expert Advisor can guarantee profit or prevent every loss.
Historical results, backtests, optimization reports, screenshots, and forward-test results are not guarantees of future performance.
