The indicator displays volume clusters or volume profiles to choose from.


Input variables


StepPoint - cluster step in points, if the value is zero, the step is assigned automatically.

AssociatedTimeframe - binding the indicator to the specified timeframe of the chart, if the value is equal to Current, the indicator works on all timeframes.

ClustersVolume - volume in clusters:

  • All - all volume.
  • Active - active volume (which produced the price movement).

ClustersAsDelta - difference between the volume of buyers and sellers.

ProfilesVolume - volume in profile clusters:

  • All - all volume.
  • Active - active volume (which produced the price movement).

ProfilesAsDelta - difference between the volume of buyers and sellers.

ProfilesValueArea - size of profile value area.

ProfilesValueAreaType - value area calculation mode:

  • OfPocND - distribution relative to POC level.
  • OfTotalVolume - distribution relative to the volume traded in the profile.

FramesDelta - display of aggregate delta for each clusters frame.

FramesCompare - normalize the visual length of clusters relative to the maximum volume cluster in the chart window.

SignReverse - reverse of the volume of clusters (buyers as sellers, and sellers as buyers).

VolumeType - type of volumes used for calculations:

  • Tick - tick volumes.
  • Real - real volumes (if it broadcast from a broker).
  • Without - alternative mode, without the volumes.

The rest of the variables are related to color settings, and their purpose is clear from their name.


Indicator features


The indicator requires pre-loading of the history, in particular the history of M1 and M5.

During operation, the indicator changes the scale of the chart on the price axis, and also replaces the image of the chart, as a result, the operation of some other indicators in the chart window may be incorrect.

The indicator does not work on the timeframe M1.

I remember seeing profiled candle sticks on another trading platform which frightened me if MQL didn't have something the same. To my surprise you had it, this indicator has a more powerful perspective. Glad to see this a part of my indicator toolkit.

Evgency Shevtsov this is probably the most important indicator to trade with. i like how it shows bid & ask volumes when most MT4 footprints only show total volumes. However i have a request; could you update your footprint by adding an imbalance feature that enables imbalances to be shown & highlighted on the bid to ask setting for the footprint. most footprints that have bid & ask settings(or traditional depth of market indicators) have the imbalance feature. Adding it would be immensely beneficial.

Thank you for your positive assessment.
If you mean the difference between buy and sell clusters, then there is an input variable "ClustersAsDelta" that needs to be switched to the "Enable" state.
If you mean something else, then ask your question on the "Comments" tab, because the "Reviews" tab is not adapted for conducting dialogues.

This indicator is good footprint indicator, among the options you have thick and real volume option. Picture of clusters with appropriate settings is good, numbers are good. When you put this indicator in good system with volume and market profile, with good currency strenght charts , you can say you have trading software.

This indicator is good work.

Yes, there is a real volume option there.
But this is just as a consequence for the similarity of the source code from MT5 and from MT4.
In MT4 this option, of course, doesn't work.
If only someday the terminal developers decide to supply MT4 with real volumes. ))

First indicator I've bought. This removed most of the guess work from my strategy and improved my entries a lot in a very short time. I have much more clearer idea of what is going on in the market. It is very affordable compared to what other similar items cost.
