Overview

Apex Trade Panel is a fully on-chart trading panel with two modes: Manual — precise control over every order, from lot sizing and SL/TP logic to trailing methods and batch close filters; and SignalStream auto-trade — the panel polls the Apex Signal Stream server over HTTPS and executes incoming signals behind 10 safety gates, reporting every outcome back. One panel, two ways to trade — and nothing enters your account that doesn't pass your rules first. Manual mode works standalone; SignalStream is OFF until enabled with your API key, and even then it defaults to simulation so you stay in control of when it goes live.

Feature Breakdown

Position Sizing — Three Risk Modes

Cycle through three lot-sizing strategies with one click; the lot value is editable via +/- buttons or keyboard entry. Your last lot value and mode are remembered even across chart reloads and terminal restarts.

Stop-Loss & Take-Profit — Five Distance Modes Each

SL and TP each have independently selectable distance modes. Cycle the mode button, then adjust with +/- or by typing directly. Enter 0 to disable that side — the order is placed without an SL and/or TP, and the edit box shows a clear amber warning so you always know what you're trading.

Hint lines below each edit show the mode name plus the expected dollar loss (SL) or gain (TP) — before you click — or "DISABLED (no stop)" when that side is off.

Trailing Stop — Four Modes

Cycle the Trail button to choose your trailing method. A minimum step input prevents the SL from moving on every tick, so your stop moves on your terms, not the market's noise.

Direction Toggle — Long / Short Preview

Tap the direction button to switch between Long and Short. This flips the SL/TP preview lines and switches risk calculations to the correct side of price (longs reference the Ask, shorts the Bid).

Trade Mode — Market or Limit/Stop

Preview Lines — See Your Trade Before You Make It

Toggle Preview Lines to overlay three draggable horizontal lines on your chart:

• Entry (Blue) — only shown in Lmt/Stp mode; where the pending order triggers.
• Stop Loss (Red) — drag to set your SL visually.
• Take Profit (Green) — drag to set your TP visually.

Dragging any line instantly updates the SL/TP edit fields (converted to your selected mode) and refreshes the risk display, so you always see the dollar impact of every move. A side set to 0 gets no line at all.

One-Click Trade Execution

Two prominent buttons — BUY (blue) and SELL (red) — execute orders per the current Trade Mode, Lot/Risk settings, and SL/TP distances. Buys execute at the Ask, sells at the Bid.

Close Filters — Six Targeted Exit Actions

Six close buttons selectively flatten positions or cancel orders — and only trades with this panel's magic number, so you're never touching anything that isn't yours:

OCO, Spread Adjust & One-Way Trading

Pending orders placed in Lmt/Stp mode are tagged with an OCO group identifier — when one fills, its sibling is cancelled. Spread Adjust adds the current spread to every SL distance so your protection is honest against the real market spread. One-Way Only restricts the panel to a single direction while a position is open.

Information Panel — Live Account Snapshot

A real-time info block refreshes every second:

• Balance / Equity — current account balance and equity.
• P/L / Open / Pend — floating P/L on this symbol and open/pending counts.
• Lots / PtVal / ATR / Spread — symbol constraints and live indicator values.
• Signal — SignalStream connection badge, last signal outcome, and signal trade counter with last-trade time.
• Clock — Local, Broker, or GMT time.

A connection badge shows green "● Connected" when polling is authorized and healthy, red "● Auth failed" on authentication errors, red "● Offline" while disconnected, or "● Disabled" when SignalStream is off. The signal line is color-coded by the last outcome — green for executed/logged, red for failure, orange for a rejection reason — so you always know exactly what the panel is doing.

Dark / Light Theme, Scaling & Screenshot

One-click theme toggle between dark and light palettes. The − and + buttons scale the whole panel from 0.70× to 1.50×; preview lines are preserved across rescales. One-click screenshot saves a timestamped image to MQL5/Files/.

Symbol-Aware Every Tick

Lot rounding, stop-level validation, tick size/value, and volume constraints are fetched live from the active symbol. Works across Forex, indices, commodities, and crypto CFDs. Hedging-account compatible.

SignalStream — Automation With the Safety You'd Demand

The panel polls POST /api/bot-connect/mt5/poll every few seconds with your API key, sending any pending execution reports along, and receives new signals. With auto-execute OFF (default), signals are simulated and logged only. Every outcome is reported back with the signal's verification hash as executed, rejected, failed, or simulated — and reporting is at-least-once, meaning results are only cleared once the server confirms them, so a dropped connection never loses a trade outcome.

Multi-asset by design: a signal's target symbol is resolved from the server's mt5_symbol mapping, then the asset name, then the chart symbol — so signal streams can execute on symbols other than the one the panel is attached to. Entry always executes at the live broker Ask (buys) / Bid (sells).

10 Safety Gates run on every signal before anything is placed:

1. Asset whitelist (empty = allow all)
2. Deduplication by verification hash (survives EA restart via a disk cache)
3. Trading window HH:MM (broker time)
4. Stale signal — max age in seconds (GMT)
5. Price discrepancy — max % vs live broker price
6. Pre-flight slippage — max entry deviation in points
7. Opposite-position handling — when the server flags a close-on-alternate signal, opposite positions are closed first; otherwise the signal is rejected rather than stacked against you

10. Margin check — min free margin % of the trade requirement

In simulation mode, the first four gates always run and the raw signal payload is logged for debugging — a safe, honest on-ramp before you ever enable live execution.

Trade size: EA panel sizing by default; server trade_size_usd or per-asset lot config applies only when you enable server settings, and when the server sends no size the EA falls back to your panel settings. When a signal carries an SL, lot sizing is computed against that signal's own stop distance — so the risk math matches the stop that is actually placed.

SL/TP: EA modes by default, or server values — with the optional (dangerous) Delta Adjust shifting server SL/TP by the broker-vs-server price delta so distances are preserved exactly. A server SL found on the wrong side of price causes a safe reject rather than a naked position; a misplaced TP is dropped.

Close-with-server: when enabled, the server can send close payloads and the EA closes every matching position (same magic number and direction) on the resolved symbol, reporting each close back with the reason.

Adaptive polling: base interval + random jitter; backs off up to 2× when idle, honors retry_after on HTTP 429 (pauses 5–120 s), and pauses 10 s on 5xx/proxy/network errors. A 20-second request timeout tolerates the server's long-poll, so signals are delivered near-instantly.
