ZyloFx Timed Exit Control

ZyloFx Timed Exit Control is a professional Expert Advisor for MetaTrader 4, designed to help traders manage their positions with an automatic scheduled exit system.

This EA is not a market entry strategy and does not provide trading signals. Its main purpose is to help traders control exposure, close open positions, and delete pending orders at a specific time selected by the user.

Main Purpose

The main purpose of ZyloFx Timed Exit Control is simple: you choose a daily exit time, and the EA monitors your account. When the configured time is reached, the system can close open positions, delete pending orders, or perform both actions depending on your settings.

This tool is useful for traders who do not want to leave trades open after a specific session, traders who work with fixed trading schedules, or users who want a more organized and disciplined risk management routine.

Control Panel

The EA includes a modern and easy-to-use panel directly on the chart. From this panel, you can view the system status, current time, daily exit time, countdown, open positions, pending orders, and the latest action performed by the EA.

The panel includes three main buttons:

• AUTO: ON / OFF — Enables or disables the automatic timed exit function.
• CLOSE NOW — Closes only open market positions. It does not delete pending orders.
• DELETE ORDERS — Deletes only pending orders. It does not close open market positions.

Supported Pending Orders

The EA can delete the following pending order types:

• Buy Limit
• Sell Limit
• Buy Stop
• Sell Stop

Timed Exit Logic

When the configured exit time is reached, the EA takes a snapshot of the positions and pending orders that exist at that moment. It then attempts to close or delete only those selected trades according to the user settings.

After the scheduled exit is completed, the EA will not close new trades opened after that time, as long as continuous closing mode is disabled.

This allows the user to keep control over the automatic scheduled exit without affecting new manual trades opened after the selected exit time.

Main Parameters

InpEAName
Sets the internal display name of the Expert Advisor.

InpEnableTimedExit
Enables or disables the automatic timed exit when the EA starts.

InpExitTime
Defines the exact time when the EA will execute the scheduled exit. The required format is HH:MM:SS. Example: 15:29:30.

InpTimeMode
Allows the user to choose between Broker Server Time and Computer Local Time.

InpCloseMarketPositions
If enabled, the EA will close open market positions at the configured exit time.

InpDeletePendingOrders
If enabled, the EA will delete pending orders at the configured exit time.

InpManageCurrentSymbolOnly
If enabled, the EA will manage only the symbol where it is attached. If disabled, it can manage matching trades from other symbols in the account.

InpMagicFilter
Allows the EA to filter trades by Magic Number. Use -1 to manage all Magic Numbers.

InpKeepClosingAfterTime
If set to false, the EA performs the scheduled exit once and will not touch new trades opened after the exit time. If set to true, the EA will continue closing matching trades after the configured time until midnight.

InpDeviationPoints
Defines the allowed deviation in points when closing market positions.

InpTimerSeconds
Defines how often the EA updates the panel and checks the timed exit logic.

Usage Example

If the EA is attached to a BTCUSD chart and the exit time is set to 15:29:30, the EA will monitor BTCUSD positions and pending orders. When that time is reached, it will close open BTCUSD positions and/or delete BTCUSD pending orders according to the selected settings.

If you want the EA to manage trades from all symbols in the account, you can disable InpManageCurrentSymbolOnly.

Important Notes

• The EA must remain attached to a chart in order to work.
• MetaTrader 4 must remain open and connected to the broker.
• AutoTrading must be enabled.
• Live trading must be allowed in the EA Common tab.
• The EA only manages trades that match the selected symbol and Magic Number filters.
• This EA does not provide entry signals and does not open trades as a strategy.
