Trading Control System is an on-chart control panel for MetaTrader 5 designed to help traders understand and manage position risk in real time.
In a standard MT5 layout, it is possible to see positions, lot size, and floating profit. However, when multiple positions are open, especially on instruments like XAUUSD, it becomes difficult to judge whether exposure is still balanced or already drifting into risk.
This tool focuses on that specific problem.
It does not try to predict the market or generate trading signals. Instead, it provides a structured view of current positions and a set of basic control actions directly on the chart.
Core Concept
Trading Control System is built around three practical questions:
- Is the current position structure balanced or skewed?
- Is the account under pressure or still within a safe range?
- What action should be considered at this moment?
The panel combines position data, risk metrics, and simple control tools into a single interface so the trader does not need to switch between multiple MT5 windows.
Panel Information
The panel displays real-time information related to the current symbol:
- Symbol and current spread
- Account equity and protection state
- Stress level based on usage, drift, and exposure
- Inventory overview (positions, buy/sell volume, net exposure)
- Risk configuration (risk %, stop loss in points, suggested lot)
- Protection status (drawdown and blocking condition)
For example, when positions become unbalanced, the panel may show a skewed inventory state and highlight that the trader should monitor the situation more closely.
Stress and Inventory Monitoring
Instead of showing only profit or loss, the tool introduces a simple structure:
- Stress reflects how heavy the current exposure is
- Usage shows how much margin is being used relative to equity
- Drift shows directional imbalance in points
- Inventory shows how buy and sell positions are distributed
This helps identify situations where the account is still profitable but structurally unstable, which is often missed in manual monitoring.
Basic Control Actions
The panel includes several manual control buttons:
- Buy and Sell (market execution)
- Move Stop Loss to Break-even
- Close All positions
- Close Buy or Close Sell separately
These actions are optional and can be used to respond quickly without opening the MT5 trade window.
The tool does not automate trading decisions. All actions remain under user control.
Use Case (XAUUSD)
The tool is particularly relevant for gold trading (XAUUSD), where:
- price movement can be fast and irregular
- multiple positions are often opened in short periods
- manual tracking of exposure becomes less reliable
In these conditions, the panel provides a quick overview of whether the position structure is still manageable.

Interface Design
