          I bought the MT5 EA yesterday and installed it on my broker, it traded quickly, taking profits / losses within a few seconds, it made big losses on this demo. Later on, I opened another broker account with a lower spread on gold and with better latency, today the EA took 12 trades with 4 losers totalling $440 and 7 winners of $245 = LOSS of -$195. The EA took 1 more trade which made a profit of $781, this was due to an extraordinary drop in the gold price and I guess this was just "lucky". under normal market conditions this would not have happened. Total for the day was $586. I'm still not convinced of the long-term profitability of this EA, the published results only span a few weeks. It's still early days (day2) of using the EA and I will have to test for at least 1 month to better judge the functionality. The EA does not allow an adjustable TP level, just a trailing stop, so control is limited. No manual is provided describing what the functions do, some are self-explanatory but others ar open to guesswork, not good for an expensive product. I will increase my star rating over time as the robots proves it's long-term profitability.

          The vendor Mo is very helpful and has tried very hard to improve the profitability of the EA but unfortunately for me, the EA Gold Algo MT5 has produced losses for me EVERY DAY after lucky day-1, even with the new v5.

          So many people in the chat were complaining about losses that he closed the private chat yesterday, saying that there were too many negative comments, so the only place left for me to comment is in the (now-reduced) 1 star review.

          The advert boldly states that the EA is "PROP FIRM READY", It is no where near prop firm ready, as it can't even grow an adequately funded demo and produces daily losses. The EA cost me $299 and the author threatened to use scarcity

          sales tactics and increase the price to $999 (which he did temporarily) before dropping back to $299.

          In my opinion this EA is still a Alpha/Beta test version and should not be on sale for a high-ticket price there are so few customizable options that I can't even attempt to make it profitable by adjusting the settings. I think he should open

          up these settings as the current logic is flawed, even though it may make him a profit on just one or 2 brokers which are unavailable worldwide, it even fails on the most popular IC Markets.

          I can't knock the author's helpfulness or enthusiasm for the project, but it is just that at this moment in time, just a project, for which we have paid $299 for.

          I hope he makes a working v6 that opens up some additional settings and actually works with everyday brokers, then I will increase my rating.

          I will keep v5 running on my VPS to see if there is any improvement over the week, but I somehow don't get that warm fuzzy feeling. :-{

          Thank you for your feedback and I'm glad to see that you're profitable with EA Gold Algo. I would just like to highlight one important point. EA Gold Algo is a pure TP and SL based system. It does not rely on grid, martingale, recovery cycles or any form of lot escalation. Every trade is independent and risk is clearly defined from the start. In today’s retail algorithmic market, that alone is already a major difference. Short term fluctuations over one or two days are completely normal, especially for a scalping strategy on gold. What matters is statistical edge over a meaningful sample size, not isolated sessions. The large winning trade you mentioned was not "lucky". Similar extended moves have been captured multiple times over the past four weeks on my live signals. EA Gold Algo is designed to systematically allow profits to expand when volatility increases. The trailing logic is specifically designed to let profits expand during volatility while losses remain controlled. That asymmetry is intentional. I remain confident in the long term consistency of the strategy. Finally, regarding the functions, the parameters are designed to be intuitive and minimal to avoid unnecessary complexity. If anything is unclear in the meantime, I’m available to assist directly.
