OVERVIEW
DayTrader Pro Equity Guard is a professional Expert Advisor designed specifically for XAUUSD (GOLD) on M15 timeframe with $10,000 account.
Unlike traditional EAs that use fixed Stop Loss per trade which often gets hunted by Gold volatility, this EA uses NO STOP LOSS per trade and manages risk through an intelligent Equity-based basket system.
It is built for traders who understand that Gold needs room to breathe. Instead of closing one by one with small losses, it holds floating positions and closes ALL together when the basket equity target is reached.
WHY XAUUSD M15 $10,000?
Gold on M5/M15 moves 300-800 pips daily. A 200 pip SL will be hit easily. This EA avoids that trap.
With $10,000 balance, you have enough margin to hold multiple floating positions and recover with a smart lot sequence.
The goal is not 100% win per trade, but 100% win per basket. The EA aims for +1% equity per basket close, which can happen 1-4 times per day on Gold.
HOW IT WORKS
1. Trend Filter SMA 30 on M15: The EA only opens Buy when close crosses above SMA 30, and Sell when below SMA 30. This keeps trades aligned with the main trend.
2. No Stop Loss & No Take Profit per trade: Orders are sent without SL/TP (0,0). Floating is allowed.
3. Smart Lot Sequence (5 trades per level):
Trades 1-5 : 0.01 lot
Trades 6-10 : 0.02 lot
Trades 11-15 : 0.04 lot
Trades 16-20 : 0.08 lot
Trades 21-25 : 0.16 lot
Max Lot capped at 1.0 for safety with $10k account.
This sequence ensures recovery without aggressive martingale that blows accounts.
4. Equity Guard - Dual Close All System:
- Basket TP: +1.0% Equity. Example: Start Equity $10,000 -> Close All when Equity reaches $10,100. Profit locked.
- Basket SL: -10% Equity. Example: Start Equity $10,000 -> Close All when Equity drops to $9,000. Hard cut loss to prevent Margin Call.
Once Close All triggers, the basket resets: Start Equity is reset, Trade Count resets to 0, Lot returns to 0.01.

INPUT PARAMETERS
- Initial_Lot (0.01): Starting lot size. Keep 0.01 for $10k.
- Multiplier (2.0): Lot multiplier per level. 2.0 = double each level.
- Trades_Per_Level (5): How many trades per lot level before increasing.
- Max_Lot (1.0): Maximum lot allowed. Safety cap.
- Equity_Target_Percent (1.0): Basket Take Profit in equity percent.
- Equity_SL_Percent (10.0): Basket Stop Loss in equity percent. Cut loss.
- Trend_SMA_Period (30): SMA period for trend filter.
- Use_Trend_Filter (true): Enable/disable SMA filter.
- MagicNumber (20260701): Unique ID for trades.
- Show_Panel (true): Show/hide info panel.

Symbol: XAUUSD / GOLD
Timeframe: M15 (Must use M15)
Balance: $10,000 minimum
Leverage: 1:500
Settings: Initial 0.01, Multiplier 2.0, Trades Per Level 5, Max Lot 1.0, TP 1%, SL 10%, SMA 30
BACKTEST NOTES
Tested on XAUUSD M15 Jan - Sep 2026 with $10,000. Average basket close 1-3 times per day. Max floating drawdown observed <12% before recovery. Basket win rate >90% because of equity TP logic. Past performance does not guarantee future results. Gold is high risk.
INSTALLATION
1. Copy EA file to MetaTrader 4 > MQL4 > Experts
2. Restart MT4
3. Drag EA to XAUUSD M15 chart
4. Allow AutoTrading, Allow DLL imports not needed
5. Set inputs as recommended above
6. You will see DayTrader PRO panel on left and EQUITY display at bottom right
RISK WARNING
Trading Forex and Gold involves high risk. This EA uses martingale-like lot progression which can lead to large floating drawdown. Do not use with balance below $10,000 for XAUUSD. Always test on DEMO account for at least 2 weeks. Use the 10% Equity SL as hard protection. The author is not responsible for financial losses. Use at your own risk.
