EV Smart Grid is a recovery-grid expert advisor with a hard capital-protection switch built in. It is designed to be simple, transparent and safe to test - a grid that knows when to stop. HOW IT WORKS - Opens a first trade in the bias direction (moving-average bias, or Buy-only / Sell-only if you prefer) - If price moves against the position by one grid step, it averages in with a capped multiplier to recover the move - never an unlimited martingale - Closes the entire basket as soon as it reaches the profit target, then resets - A daily equity-drawdown cutoff closes everything and pauses trading for the rest of the day if losses reach your limit (the survival switch) CAPITAL PROTECTION (what makes this grid different) - Hard cap on the lot multiplier - no runaway position sizing - Maximum number of grid levels - Daily equity-drawdown cutoff that flattens and halts - Pre-trade volume check - never exceeds the symbol volume limit - Pre-trade margin check - never sends an order it cannot afford - The result: no "no money" or "volume limit" failures, no account-nuking spiral BUILT-IN SAFETY - Works on netting and hedging accounts - Respects broker filling modes and volume limits - No DLLs, no external dependencies, ASCII clean - On-chart status panel: state, levels, basket P/L, daily drawdown KEY PARAMETERS - First lot, lot multiplier (capped), max grid levels - Grid step: fixed points or ATR-based (adapts to any symbol) - Basket take-profit in money or as a percentage of balance - Max daily equity drawdown and halt behaviour - Magic number, max spread, slippage RECOMMENDED - Works on any symbol; ATR step mode adapts automatically - Start on a demo account to choose lot, levels and drawdown limit for your capital - Lower the multiplier and levels on small accounts IMPORTANT - RISK DISCLOSURE Grid and averaging strategies carry risk.
