Ricochet is an automated trading system for EURUSD on the M1 timeframe, built
around one simple but powerful idea: a losing trade should not be the end of the
move, it should be the start of the next one.
Most systems take a stop loss and walk away. Ricochet does the opposite. The
moment a trade is stopped out, the engine changes state and fires again in the
direction the market just proved it wanted to go. A failed entry becomes the
trigger for the recovery. That is the Ricochet principle.
The Ricochet Principle
Ricochet runs two opposite playbooks inside a single engine.
In its first mode it hunts for exhaustion. When price stretches too far, too fast,
the system fades it and aims for a return to balance, banking quick, controlled
profit when the market snaps back.
If price refuses to snap back and instead breaks through the protective stop, the
engine does not sit on the loss. It instantly flips into its second mode and rides
the breakout that caused the stop, targeting a much larger reward. One clean shot,
deflected into a new direction.
This is why a low win rate does not slow it down: the losses are small and fixed,
while the recovery trades are designed to be several times larger.
Adaptive Risk On Every Trade
Risk is never a fixed number of points. Every stop loss is scaled to live market
volatility, so the system tightens up in quiet conditions and gives trades room to
breathe when the market is moving. Position size is calculated from a fixed percent
of your balance, so the risk you set is the risk you take. No martingale. No grid.
No averaging down. One position at a time, always protected by a real stop.
Built-In Capital Protection
Ricochet ships with a full protection stack you can switch on or off independently:
Trailing stop and breakeven to lock in open profit
Partial close to bank a portion of a winner early
Maximum holding time so no trade overstays its welcome
Loss cooldown that pauses the system after a run of stops
Daily and overall drawdown caps that flatten everything and stand aside
Daily profit target to lock in a strong day and stop
Trade Only When It Matters
You decide when Ricochet is allowed to work. Three fully configurable trading
sessions, day-of-week filters, a weekend-safe Friday close, a spread guard, and a
high-impact news filter keep the system active only in the conditions it was built
for, and out of the market when it should be.
Always-On Dashboard
A clean on-chart panel shows live system state, current volatility, spread, today's
profit and loss, drawdown from peak, the current loss streak, and your open
position at a glance. You always know exactly what Ricochet is doing and why.
Verified On History
Tested on EURUSD M1 with 100 percent history-quality, real-tick modelling:

Sharpe ratio 12.11
Maximum balance drawdown 16.81 percent

future results. Always run your own test on a demo account before trading live.
Getting Started
Attach Ricochet to a EURUSD M1 chart and run the supplied default settings, which
are pre-tuned and ready to go. A cent account with a minimum of 10,000 cents and
leverage of 1:500 or higher is recommended, on a low-spread broker with a VPS for
reliable execution. Start on demo, confirm it behaves correctly with your broker,
then go live.
