BOLDI EA — Professional XAUUSD Scalper

Boldi EA is a fully automated Expert Advisor specifically designed for scalping XAUUSD (Gold) on MetaTrader 5. Built with prop firm trading in mind, it combines multi-indicator confluence with intelligent risk management to deliver consistent, disciplined performance across any broker or account size.

Ready-to-use parameter sets are provided and updated regularly so you can start trading without running your own optimization.

If you prefer to optimize your own sets, here are my personal recommendations for best results:

• Optimization period: minimum 4 months of historical data — this captures enough market variety (trending, ranging, high and low volatility) to avoid overfitting to a single market condition
• Walk Forward validation: use the last 1-2 months of your optimization window as an out-of-sample forward period — if the EA performs well on data it never saw during optimization, the set is robust
• Recommended ratio: optimize on 3 months, validate on 1 month (75/25 split) — or optimize on 4 months and validate on 2 months (67/33 split)
• Optimization criterion: use Sharpe Ratio or Recovery Factor — never optimize purely for maximum profit, as those sets tend to fail in live trading
• Algorithm: use the Genetic Algorithm in MetaTrader 5 Strategy Tester for speed — Full Search is unnecessary and takes significantly longer

Sets are provided for XAUUSD and will be updated periodically as market conditions evolve. Each set includes the recommended timeframe, session, and risk parameters.

STRATEGY

The EA identifies high-probability entries using a multi-layer confluence approach:

1. Trend Direction — Dual EMA system confirms the primary trend direction
2. Momentum Entry — RSI detects oversold/overbought zones with bounce confirmation, entering precisely when momentum shifts in trend direction
3. Trend Strength — ADX filter ensures the EA only trades during trending conditions, avoiding choppy markets
4. Optional Confirmation — Stochastic Oscillator and Bollinger Bands as additional confirmation layers (fully configurable)

Each indicator has its own independently configurable timeframe, allowing powerful multi-timeframe analysis without running multiple chart instances.
