Recommendations

  • The Recommended Timeframe depends on your settings, but you can use M5, M15 and all others timeframes with the appropriate settings.
  • The Expert can go on EURUSD, GBPUSD, AUDUSD and USDCAD, but also in others with the appropriate settings.

  • Magic Number: ID number of the orders.
  • Max Spread: maximum spread to trade.

Money Management Settings

  • Lots: number of lots if the money management option is disabled.
  • Money Management: if true enables the money management option. 
  • Risk Percent: if the money management option is enabled, it indicates the risk percentage.

Indicators Settings

  • Enable Bollinger Bands: if true, use Bollinger Bands indicator for entry signal
  • Bollinger Bands Strategies: Select the strategy to use
  • Moment of the Signal: Decide whether the signal will be executed on the current bar or on the close of the previous bar
  • Bollinger Bands Period: Period for bollinger bands indicator
  • Bollinger Bands Deviations: Standard deviation for bollinger bands
  • Bollinger Bands Price: Price for Bollinger Bands
  • Bollinger Bands Timeframe: Timeframe for Bollinger Bands

Trading Hour

  • Enable Time Filter: if true enables the time filter
  • Trading Start Hour: operating start Hour
  • Trading Start Minute: operating start minutes
  • Trading Stop Hours: operating end Hour
  • Trading Stop Minute: operating end minutes
  • Close Out of hours: close all orders at the end of the timetable.

      I've been using the free Dark Venus EA and I'm genuinely impressed with it.       Thank you for your continued support. I am currently using Dark Venus MT5 (v5.71). I updated to the latest version and performed a clean re-installation of the settings before running the EA. However, I am observing unexpected, significant fluctuations and discrepancies regarding the take-profit and stop-loss values ​​(controls). I would like to consult you regarding whether this is due to the system specifications or a potential malfunction. [Current Settings] • Symbol: GOLD# (XMTrading) • Lot Size: 0.03 • Grid: Disabled (Enable Grid = false) • Take Profit Setting: Take Target = 150 • Stop Loss Setting: Monetary Stop Loss = 700 (Enabled) [Observed Issues/Concerns] • Despite setting the "Take Target" to 150, actual trade closures show extreme variance from the intended figures; for instance, some trades close with a massive profit of 11,254 JPY, while others are cut at a loss significantly larger than expected (around 2,000–2,800 JPY). This makes it impossible to effectively control risk, as the actual profit/loss amounts deviate wildly from the settings and my intentions. • Even with a single position (grid disabled), it is difficult to predict how the internal values ​​(such as 150) are calculated or applied relative to Gold's volatility, making it hard to ensure take-profit and stop-loss actions occur at the intended monetary levels. Is this behavior a standard specification of v5.71, or might I be overlooking something regarding the settings or calculation formulas? I apologize for the intrusion on your busy schedule, but I would greatly appreciate any advice or guidance on the correct approach to settings so that I can keep these values ​​under control.       I have been testing *Dark Venus MT5* on a test account, and I have also completed a *one-year backtest* to evaluate its performance. The results have been *really amazing and very impressive* so far. One of the things that caught my attention initially was that, when I searched on Google, *Dark Venus MT5 had the highest number of downloads among the products I was comparing*, which gave me an additional reason to test it. After actually testing it myself, I can understand why it has attracted so much attention. The EA has performed very well in my one-year backtest, and the overall results have given me a lot of confidence in continuing the testing. A special mention to *Marco Solito*— the author has done a great job developing and maintaining this EA. The quality of the product and the effort behind it are clearly noticeable. I am currently continuing to run it on a *test account* and will keep monitoring its performance under live market conditions before considering real-money deployment.
