BreakEdge US30 is a fully automated breakout scalping Expert Advisor engineered specifically for the US30 (Dow Jones) index. It captures the high-momentum price expansion that follows the New York session open by placing a buy stop and sell stop bracket above and below the current price, then manages the winning trade automatically while cancelling the losing side.
STRATEGY
At the start of each session window, BreakEdge places a dual pending order bracket — a buy stop above the ask and a sell stop below the bid. Whichever order triggers first becomes the active trade. The opposite pending order is cancelled immediately. The EA then applies break-even logic and a trailing stop to protect and maximise the open profit. Once the trade closes, the EA can re-bracket up to a user-defined number of times within the same session.
KEY FEATURES
News Filter — define up to five high-impact news times in server time. The EA pauses entry for a configurable window before and after each event, protecting the account from spike-driven stop-outs.
Daily Loss Limit — set a maximum drawdown in account currency. Once hit, the EA halts all new entries, closes any open positions and pending orders, and waits for the next trading day.
Spread Filter — prevents bracket placement when the live spread exceeds the configured maximum, avoiding high-cost entries during thin market conditions.
Multi-Entry Per Session — the EA can re-bracket after each completed cycle, allowing it to capture multiple breakout moves within a single session up to the configured trade cap.
Break-Even and Trailing Stop — configurable profit thresholds to move the stop loss to entry and then trail it behind the market, locking in gains progressively.
On-Chart Dashboard — a compact real-time panel displays session status, current spread, news filter state, trades taken this session, daily profit and loss, loss limit status, pending order count, and open position count.
INPUTS
Session hours, entry distances, stop loss, take profit, lot size, trailing parameters, break-even parameters, order expiry, slippage, spread limit, daily loss limit, news times, and dashboard position are all fully configurable from the Inputs tab.
