MT4 MT5 Trade Bridge for MetaTrader 5 is the MetaTrader 5 component of the MT4 MT5 Trade Bridge system. It allows a MetaTrader 5 terminal to work either as a Master or as a Slave in a local bridge connection with MetaTrader 4.
When configured as Master, the MT5 component reads trading activity from the MetaTrader 5 terminal and writes structured trade data into a local bridge file. The connected MT4 component can then read this data and mirror the trading activity according to its selected settings.
When configured as Slave, the MT5 component reads trading data from the connected MT4 component and follows the trading activity from MetaTrader 4.
This product is useful for traders who want flexible trade synchronization between MT5 and MT4 terminals, including terminals from different brokers, while keeping the bridge workflow local on the same computer or VPS.
The bridge uses local file synchronization through the common terminal files folder. MT5 and MT4 do not have to be from the same broker. The system automatically checks symbol compatibility and uses the chart symbol on the Slave terminal to help handle broker symbol suffix differences.
Important
This product is the MetaTrader 5 component of the MT4 MT5 Trade Bridge system.
To complete the bridge workflow, you also need the MetaTrader 4 companion component installed on your MetaTrader 4 terminal.
One terminal must be configured as Master, and the other terminal must be configured as Slave.
The system includes automatic configuration warning detection if both terminals are set to the same role, such as:
- MT5 Master + MT4 Master
- MT5 Slave + MT4 Slave
In these cases, no mirroring will be executed until one terminal is set as Master and the other as Slave.

How It Works
- Attach the MT5 component to a MetaTrader 5 chart.

- Set one terminal as Master.
- Set the other terminal as Slave.
- The Master writes trading data into its local bridge file.
- The Slave reads the Master bridge file and mirrors the trading activity according to the selected settings.
Example configurations:
MT5 = Master
MT4 = Slave
or:
MT4 = Master
MT5 = Slave
Recommended Use
This product is designed for traders who want to synchronize trading activity between MetaTrader 5 and MetaTrader 4, including terminals from different brokers.
For best results, both terminals should be installed and running on the same computer or VPS.
Attach the Slave component to the chart symbol you want to use for execution. The system will check whether the Master symbol and Slave chart symbol are compatible before executing mirrored trades.
Important Notes
This product is a bridge utility component, not a trading strategy.
It does not generate trading signals and does not guarantee profit.
Trading results depend on the source trades, Slave execution, broker execution quality, spread, commission, slippage, latency, symbol specifications, minimum lot size, stop level, freeze level, and user settings.
The product should be tested first on demo accounts before being used on live accounts.
