Indicator Overview
The ICT PO3 AMD Protocol Framework is a complete structural overlay for MetaTrader 5 that maps the True Daily Cycle directly onto your lower-timeframe execution chart. It projects the Power of 3 candle (Daily, H4, Weekly), identifies Accumulation, Manipulation, and Distribution phases, draws Killzone session boxes, tracks Macro Liquidity levels, and fires Smart Sweep Alerts — all from a single indicator with zero screen switching.
The core problem it solves: ICT and SMC traders need to align True NY Midnight structure with standard broker server times. Visualizing the Daily Open, H4 internal structure, and AMD phases on an M1 or M5 chart normally requires multiple charts, manual drawings, or cluttered templates. This indicator compresses the entire algorithmic daily narrative into a single, clean overlay on your working chart.
This is not a signal indicator. It does not print buy or sell arrows. It is a pure context and structural framework designed for serious discretionary traders who execute their own models.
What Is Included
Dual Operating Modes (True NY vs Standard) — Choose between True NY Midnight Open (recommended for ICT traders) or Standard Broker Open (00:00 server time). In True NY mode, the indicator recalculates the Daily PO3 candle, H4 structural blocks, and AMD phase labels from your broker's NY Midnight equivalent. The NY Midnight Server Hour is fully adjustable for any broker timezone.
Daily PO3 Overlay — Projects the True Daily candle as a solid visual block to the right of live price, with color-coded body and wicks. Includes a minimalist OHLC text engine showing the Day Open, High, Low, Close, and Daily Delta in points for tracking ADR exhaustion. In True NY mode, the open label displays "NYO (7)" showing the exact server hour anchor.
H4 PO3 Overlay — Breaks the True Day into 6 algorithmic 4-hour blocks displayed as miniature candles to the right of the Daily PO3 column. In True NY mode, the H4 blocks are anchored to NY Midnight — the first H4 candle opens at the same price as the Daily PO3 candle, and all 6 blocks decompose perfectly into the daily structure. Labels show actual server hours (07, 11, 15, 19, 23, 03 on a GMT+2 broker) so you can identify which H4 block is forming.
Weekly PO3 Overlay — Optional weekly candle projection displayed alongside the Daily and H4 columns. Shows the current week's OHLC as a visual block for macro context.
Daily 50% Equilibrium — A dash-dot horizontal line marking the exact midpoint of the current day's range. This is the daily equilibrium level where price is neither premium nor discount — a key ICT concept for identifying whether price is trading above or below fair value.
AMD Phase Detection — Automatically identifies and labels the three phases of the daily cycle in True NY mode. ACN (Accumulation) marks the center of the Asian session range where the day's initial balance forms. MPN (Manipulation) marks the false move — the Judas Swing that sweeps liquidity before the real move. DBN (Distribution) marks the expansion — the real move delivering price to its daily target. Labels are time-locked to only appear after the phase has occurred, preventing forward-projection clutter. Current day and historical AMD labels are controlled independently with adjustable lookback depth.
Killzone Session Boxes — Fully customizable Asian, London, and New York session boxes drawn directly on the chart as transparent overlays behind the price candles. Each session tracks its own high and low in real time. Session start and end times are defined as separate hour and minute inputs, allowing precise boundaries like 16:30 for the New York open. Default times are set for GMT+2/+3 brokers. The indicator handles midnight wrapping automatically when a session crosses 00:00. Current day and historical sessions are controlled independently with adjustable lookback.
H4 Structural Mapping — Draws H4 high/low dotted lines and vertical separator lines directly on the chart for each 4-hour block. In True NY mode, H4 separators align to NY Midnight (07:00, 11:00, 15:00 on a GMT+2 broker) so the structural mapping matches the PO3 day. In Standard mode, they align to broker midnight (00:00, 04:00, 08:00). Current day and historical mapping are controlled independently with adjustable lookback, line thickness, and color.
Macro Liquidity Lines — Previous Day High/Low (PDH/PDL), Previous Week High/Low (PWH/PWL), and Previous Month High/Low (PMH/PML) drawn as dash-dot horizontal lines with adjustable lookback history. Text labels support three alignment modes: Left (at line origin), Center, or Right (near live price). Line extension adjusts dynamically based on chart zoom level through the Dynamic Spacing Engine.
NY Equity Open (Initial Balance) — Tracks the high and low of the first 30 minutes after the NY Equity open (default 16:30 server time). The IB range acts as a morning expansion reference — if price breaks the IB high or low, the directional bias for the NY PM session becomes clear. Duration and start time are fully adjustable.
Smart Sweep Alert Engine — Fires only on high-value liquidity events: Macro Sweeps (price crosses PDH, PDL, PWH, or PWL) and Judas Swing Sweeps (price sweeps Asia High or Low after the Asian session closes). Alerts are time-locked — Asia sweep alerts only arm after the Asian session ends, preventing premature triggers during the accumulation phase. Smart Initialization scans existing sweeps on first load so the indicator never fires stale alerts when applied mid-day. Supports Desktop Popup, Mobile Push, and Email with per-category toggles.
Chart Themes — Three built-in schemes: Institutional (White Background), Dark Mode (Black Background), or Keep Your Existing Settings. Grid and volume display are automatically disabled for a clean working environment. In Strategy Tester, the indicator forces the clean theme to prevent visual artifacts.
How Traders Use It
Higher-Timeframe Narrative: Identify the True NY Midnight Open price. Monitor the Asian range accumulation (ACN). Observe where PDH/PDL and PWH/PWL sit relative to the current day's range. Read the 50% Equilibrium to know if price is premium or discount. Watch the H4 structural blocks to see which phase of the day is active.
Lower-Timeframe Execution: Drop to your M1, M5, or M15 working chart. The Daily PO3 candle and H4 breakdown are visible to the right of live price. Killzone boxes highlight the active session. When the MPN label appears (Manipulation / Judas Swing) during the London or NY Killzone, look for your specific entry model (FVG, Order Block, Breaker) targeting the opposing liquidity pool (Distribution / DBN). The Smart Sweep Alert fires to your phone when price takes a key level, so you do not need to watch the chart constantly.
The indicator provides the structural roadmap. It works alongside any entry model without interfering with trade management.
Customization & Spacing Architecture
Every visual component is engineered to prevent overlap and chart clutter.
Dynamic Spacing Engine — The indicator reads your current chart zoom level and automatically adjusts liquidity line extensions and overlay column gaps so the layout remains clean at any zoom. Spacing recalculates on every tick.
Manual Shift Control — You have direct control over the chart shift percentage, the gap from live price to the Daily PO3 column, and the gap from the Daily column to the H4 overlay.
Modular Design — Over 50 input parameters organized into 9 clean uppercase groups. Turn off any module (Sessions, H4 Lines, Weekly PO3, AMD Labels) independently without breaking the indicator's core logic. Every module respects independent lookback settings and current-day versus historical toggles.
Recommended Setup
Execution Timeframes: M1, M5, M15
Operating Mode: True NY Midnight Open
NY Midnight Hour: 7 (for GMT+2/+3 brokers like ICMarkets, Pepperstone, FP Markets)

To find your NY Midnight Hour: open a chart and note the server time on the horizontal axis. NY Midnight is 00:00 Eastern US time. Convert that to your broker's server time. For most GMT+2 brokers, this is 07:00. For GMT+3 (summer time), it is also 07:00. For GMT+0 brokers, use 05:00.
