NTS Investor Reader

Read-only trade export tool for MT5 investor accounts

NTS Investor Reader is a lightweight companion EA for NTS Local Copier. It runs on an read-only / investor login and writes your open positions to the shared file in the same format used by the NTS Local Copier Master.

No trade execution. No OrderSend. No copying logic. It simply reads open positions and outputs them for the Slave EA to follow.

What it does

  • Reads all open MT5 positions safely from an investor account.

  • Writes them to the shared common file used by NTS Local Copier Slave.

  • Updates automatically with OnTimer() for fast, steady syncing.

  • Shows a small on-chart status panel with connection and exported position count.

Key Features

  • Investor Safe: 100% read-only design. No trade functions are used.

  • Drop-in Compatible: Uses the same CSV structure and file format expected by the Slave EA.

  • Magic Filter: Optionally export all positions or only selected magic numbers.

  • Simple Symbol Normalizer: Can strip common broker suffixes like XAUUSDM → XAUUSD before writing.

Important Note

The built-in symbol normalizer is intentionally simple. It helps with common suffixes, but it is not a full symbol mapping system. If your broker symbols still do not match correctly, please do your own symbol mapping on the Slave side.

How to use

  1. Attach NTS Investor Reader to the investor-account terminal.

  2. Set the same file name / prefix expected by your NTS Local Copier Slave.

  3. Attach the Slave EA on the trading terminal.

  4. The Slave will read the exported positions as if they came from a normal Master.

This EA is designed only as a bridge for investor accounts. It does not place, modify, or close trades.
