NewsCatcher Pro opens both pending and market orders based on data from the mql5.com calendar. In live mode, NewsCatcher Pro automatically downloads the calendar, opens orders, trails and closes orders.

NewsCatcher Pro can trade any event from the calendar with any symbol available in MetaTrader, including Gold, Oil and cross-rates. To change the default symbol, go to the event view you want to change it for.

NewsCatcher Pro uses two strategies:

Strategy 1 (pending orders): the advisor opens two pending orders above and below the current price before data is released. Whichever direction the price moves after economic data is released, one of the pending orders triggers.
Strategy 2 (instant orders): after economic data is released, the advisor evaluates the actual value with the forecast or previous value and, if a difference value is reached, it opens a market order.

The advisor stores strategy settings locally for all data. Economic data is released regularly: Jobless Claims are released every week, while Non Farm Payrolls are released every month. The advisor correctly applies the stored strategy settings to the data. Strategies can be combined. If the advisor opens a market order, a pending order in the same direction is deleted.

By default the advisor NewsCatcher Pro applies the "autoclick" strategy to all events of high volatility. This allows the advisor to work in the fully automatic mode. However, this is not the most profitable approach in trading on economic data. You should take a look at events on a weekly basis and choose the events of high volatility. Such events are: CPI, GDP, Employment Change, Claimant Count, Nonfarm Payrolls and some others. You need to set up an event only once, the advisor will remember your choice and work with this event in the future.

Pending orders follow price - following the price is stopped 10 seconds before the actual event time.

Global step for pending orders - overwrites the value marked with "g" in the event panel.

Global takeprofit – overwrites the value marked with "g" in the event panel.

Global trail – overwrites the value marked with "g" in the event panel.

Global stoploss – overwrites the value marked with "g" in the event panel.

Global volume – either a fixed value (ex: 0.02) or a percentage from available equity (ex: 0.1%). It may overwrite the value marked with "g".

Slip - if this value is exceeded, any market order is declined.

Testing mode - use "Demo_Calendar" for testing purposes if you do not have real calendar files. Results in this case should be discarded because the advisor issues order commands randomly.

Zero auto (mins) - number of minutes after opening a trade. When this time runs out, the advisor attempts to set the stop loss at the open price line. Set to 0 to disable it.

Notes for buttons in the chart

buy - opens a buy in the current symbol.

sell - opens a sell in the current symbol.

pending - opens 2 pending stop-orders from the current price. Pending orders may follow the price if the property Pending orders follow price is set to true.

rev. on slip - reverses a trade if the value of Slip is exceeded.

dynamic - switches on a dynamic trail.

zero now - sets a stoploss at the open price line as soon as it is possible.

sounds - activates sounds.

lock - locks all actions in the column to the symbol of the current chart.

clear targets - removes all target levels.

rm instant - closes all instant orders.

rm pending - closes all pending orders.

rm profit - closes all profitable trades.

rm loss - closes all losing trades.

remove all - closes all instant and pending orders.

Click a symbol button in the advisor panel to quickly go to its chart.

Click an event name in the advisor panel to open its additional settings.

The dot next to the "next event" time blinks when the advisor refreshes data. It refreshes oftener when an event time approaches.

excelente ea ,a un increible precio,vale la pena la inversion,excelentes las atenciones de evgeniy scherbina ,gran profesional me configuro el ea hasta el ultimo paso,el mejor soporte que he tenido hasta la fecha,mi dos primeras operaciones con gran ganacia,recomiendo todos sus productos ,compre tambien el maximus v17 ea ,de nuevo me asistio y configuro el ea con amabilida y paciencia ,la primera operacion del ea un 50% de retorno,pieden comprar sus productos a ojos cerrados ...y ademas habla espanol!!! la mejor inversion en ea que he echo hasta la fecha .sigue asi !!!!

I will write my experience so far with this EA. in these days execution gets faster and spreads getting lower and lower, so thats good, i made the EA did 2 trades today for and 1 winner one loser still 30 pips in profit my settings are the following i use 50 pip tp and sl of 20 pips tailing sl 10 pips. you also get an excelent guide from the maker, so i give this EA a 5 star

This is the best EA I have found so far for trading on news, and it's only 45 bucks. A very good idea to use different calendars including a custom one. Keep on pushing forward !!!

1) Added the new functions "SLIP" and "REV. ON SLIP" to control quick slipping moves. These functions are new buttons in the EA interface. The function "SLIP", when active, prevents from opening a trade if the price has already moved significantly upon the economic data release. Set the value of such a move using the property "SLIP" in the EA Properties. The function "REV. ON SLIP" reverses a trade, so it opens a buy instead of a sell and vice versa. The idea is simple: sell when overbought, buy when oversold. So if the price has made a huge leap, do not expect it to go even further, instead make a reversing trade. A reversing trade opens if both functions are active.

1. A new rule for checking incoming values was added - "related events". Related events are events that are released at the same time for the same instrument. Such events must signal one order direction (either all "buy" or all "sell") to trigger an order. If an event in the group of related events does not get over its threshold value ("standby" result), this event becomes "unrelated". All related events may trigger only one usual order. You should keep in mind that relating more than three events makes opening an order virtually impossible.
2. Calculation with empty values was corrected for instant orders. If there is an empty value or a value with a dash, the EA does not check that event. If there is a zero value, a value of 1 is added to all members of the calculation. This does not change the result and allows to avoid dividing by zero.
3. Error for USDNOK and USDSEK events was corrected.
4. Default strategy settings were updated, following a new rule for checking events.
5. The EA property "update_defaults" allows to automatically update default trading settings when they change. Set to "false" if you want to set up your own trading settings.

Big update.

1) The new parameter NEXT_EVENTS sets the number of the upcoming events. The upcoming events are displayed at the bottom left corner and are based on the data of the selected calendar. For example, if the conservative calendar is selected, which contains 3 events for the current week, the upcoming news will include only these 3 events. Set NEXT_EVENTS=0 to disable the parameter (for example, for testing).

2) The new parameter SLIP sets the size of the slippage, at which the EA tries to close all stop orders. A spread greater than the slippage could mean that the market is shaky and trading will not be efficient. Set the value of SLIP 10 times greater than the average spread (the value of the current spread is displayed at the bottom right corner). Otherwise the EA will open and close a large number of orders at the same time.

3) The new parameter STOPS_FOLLOW_PRICE allows the EA to change the stop loss and take profit after moving the opening price. They are moved before the news release, that is when the stop orders had not triggered yet, and the EA tries to keep them at a distance defined by the STEP value. If your broker does not allow to zero the stop loss and take profit values of an order that has already been sent, set the value of STOPS_FOLLOW_PRICE=false.

Testing Instructions
1. Go to www.dailyfx.com/calendar and download CSV file of the calendar for the CURRENT WEEK or any other FULL WEEK starting on SUNDAY
2. Place the file to /tester/files/ folder (File - Open Data Folder)
3. Restart MetaTrader 4, open the Strategy Tester and select the required week; a week starts on SUNDAY
4. Set the GMT value via Expert Properties, which must correspond to the time of opened orders (see the page of economic calendar for hints on your GMT)
5. Start a test with Visual Mode ON, the current testing time is displayed in the lower left corner

If during the test you get the feeling that orders are set earlier or later than they should, it means that you have not taken into account changes to or from Daylight Saving Time. Change the GMT value accordingly and repeat your test.
