ArgosWatch Compression Scanner MT5 — Session Range Breakout Dashboard
Watches up to 24 symbols for session-range compression and the breakout that follows, and ranks them by how close each one is to moving. Marks are placed on closed bars and never repaint.
THE PROBLEM THIS SOLVES
You have two dozen instruments on your watchlist and one screen. Clicking through them takes minutes, and the one that was coiling while you were looking somewhere else has already gone.
A session range is one of the few levels on a chart that is not a matter of opinion. It is the high and the low of a window of time you chose, and it is the same number for everyone looking at it. What is hard is not finding it — it is finding it on twenty-four symbols at once, and noticing which one is about to leave it.
That is the whole job of this tool.
WHAT IT DOES
It reads the most recently completed session on every symbol in your list, measures how tightly that session traded, and sorts the list so that the instrument closest to doing something sits at the top.
Row one is the one worth looking at. That is the entire promise.
THE TABLE
• symbol — Click it and that instrument's chart opens, already annotated.
• range — Height of the completed session, in pips.
• qual — The range measured against normal volatility (ATR x sqrt(bars)). Below 0.75 is a tight coil; above 1.25 is mostly travel.
• trend — Where the higher timeframe closed against its EMA(50). Context, not confirmation.
• pa — The pattern on the last closed bar — AND the timeframe it happened on (e.g. H4 rejection up).
• state — inside / near high / near low / broke up N bars ago / failed break.
• dist — Pips from current price to the active range edge.
• sprd — Current spread, highlighted in red when it is a large share of the session range.
Every column title is a button: Click it and the full arithmetic definition appears directly on the chart!
ON THE CHART (AUTOMATIC ANNOTATIONS)
Click any row and that symbol's chart opens with:
1. The session range drawn as a shaded box with high/low rays extended to the right.
2. An arrow on the bar that broke it (Green for breakout up, Red for breakout down, Cross for failed break). Marks appear ONLY on closed bars and never move.
3. Price action labels carrying their timeframe (M15 rejection up, H4 engulf dn).
4. Higher timeframes drawn further from the price for instant visual clarity.
5. Interactive Timeframe toolbar buttons (M15, H1, H4, D1) to toggle visible layers per chart.
SMART ALERTS ENGINE
Popup, sound, push notification to mobile, and email:
• Will NOT announce history (pre-existing breaks are recorded as known, not spammed).
• Will NOT repeat itself (announced once per closed bar).
• Will NOT open dozens of windows (all events in a pass are delivered as one grouped list).
• Global ALERTS ON / OFF button on every chart.
WHAT THIS DOES NOT DO
• It does not predict or forecast.
• It does not repaint.
• It does not trade (Utility dashboard shipped as an EA so the demo works in the Strategy Tester).
