Finding a candidate is only the beginning.
A symbol may rank near the top of a watchlist, show clear directional context or look interesting at first glance.
That still does not complete the review.
Before making a decision, it is useful to examine one selected symbol in more detail:
-
Is the multi-timeframe context aligned?
-
Has a qualifying condition appeared on a completed bar?
-
Is the trading session open?
-
Is the quote current?
-
Is the spread reasonable relative to recent movement?
-
Can a practical reference risk plan be calculated?
-
Is there an operating, broker or risk-related blocker?
NINJA Setup Confirm MT5 was created for this stage of the workflow.
It is a read-only MetaTrader 5 utility that organizes the current chart symbol into one detailed review panel after a candidate has already been selected.
What NINJA Setup Confirm MT5 Does
The utility combines four areas of information:
-
Multi-timeframe market context
-
Completed-bar setup checks
-
Operating conditions
-
A reference risk plan
The current MQL5 release is Version 1.0.
NINJA Setup Confirm MT5 does not:
-
Send orders
-
Modify positions
-
Close positions
-
Delete pending orders
-
Make the final trading decision
-
Use DLLs
-
Use WebRequest
-
Require an external indicator
It reviews the symbol attached to the current chart and presents the available information in one place.
Start with a Candidate, Not Every Symbol
NINJA Setup Confirm MT5 is designed for one selected chart.
Its purpose is different from a multi-symbol scanner.
A typical workflow may begin with:
-
A symbol found through your own Market Watch review
-
A candidate selected by another analytical method
-
A symbol highlighted by NINJA Market Radar MT5
-
An instrument you are considering for an EA or discretionary workflow
After selecting the candidate, open its chart and attach NINJA Setup Confirm MT5.
The utility then reviews that current chart symbol in greater detail.
It does not search the entire Market Watch list and choose the candidate for you.
Multi-Timeframe Context
The panel reviews the market environment across:
-
M15
-
H1
-
H4
Using several timeframes helps separate a short movement from a broader directional context.
The panel can review information such as:
-
EMA alignment
-
Directional RSI
-
ADX
-
Positive and negative DI
-
ATR activity
-
Recent movement
-
Directional consistency
EMA Alignment
EMA relationships help describe whether the selected timeframes are currently leaning in a similar direction.
Alignment across M15, H1 and H4 can provide a different context from a situation where only the shortest timeframe is moving.
EMA alignment does not predict the next candle.
It is one component of the current rule-based context.
Directional RSI
RSI is interpreted in relation to the calculated direction.
This helps distinguish between general oscillator strength and strength that supports the current directional context.
ADX and DI
ADX helps describe trend strength, while positive and negative DI help show directional pressure under the implemented rules.
Strong ADX by itself does not decide the direction.
The DI relationship and the other context components still matter.
ATR Activity
ATR provides a reference for recent market movement.
The utility uses ATR-related information when reviewing volatility, spread efficiency and parts of the reference plan.
Higher volatility is not automatically better.
A large movement can also increase the distance between the reference Entry and SL or make current conditions less practical.
Why Completed Bars Are Used
Conditions on the currently forming candle can change before the candle closes.
A breakout may appear during the bar and disappear before completion.
A pullback may look complete and then continue moving in the opposite direction.
A continuation pattern may weaken before the bar is finalized.
For this reason, NINJA Setup Confirm MT5 reviews qualifying conditions using completed bars.
The implemented completed-bar checks include:
-
Breakout
-
Pullback
-
Continuation
Using a completed candle creates a more stable reference than repeatedly judging a condition that is still changing tick by tick.
This does not make the result certain.
It simply means the reviewed condition is based on a finished bar rather than an unfinished one.
Breakout Review
The breakout check reviews whether a completed bar has moved through the implemented reference level in the calculated direction.
A completed breakout condition can be useful for structured review, but it should still be compared with:
-
The higher-timeframe environment
-
Recent volatility
-
Current spread
-
Nearby price structure
-
The available reference SL distance
-
The trader’s own rules
A breakout label alone does not require action.
Pullback Review
The pullback check reviews whether price has returned within the implemented directional structure and completed the required condition.
A pullback can look attractive on one timeframe while the broader environment is weakening.
That is one reason the panel displays the setup check together with M15, H1 and H4 context.
Continuation Review
The continuation check looks for a completed-bar condition that supports continuation within the current directional context.
Continuation does not mean that price must keep moving.
It means that the implemented completed-bar rule has been satisfied under the current panel conditions.
The Market Context Score
The panel displays a transparent Market Context Score from 0 to 100.
The score summarizes the alignment of the rules implemented by the utility.
It can reflect components related to:
-
Multi-timeframe direction
-
Momentum
-
Trend strength
-
Volatility
-
Recent movement
-
Setup conditions
-
Spread efficiency
-
Operating readiness
The score is not:
-
A percentage forecast
-
A win-rate estimate
-
A prediction of future profit
-
A backtest result
-
Proof that the selected symbol should be traded
A score of 80 does not mean that the next decision has an 80 percent chance of success.
The score describes how closely the current information matches the utility’s implemented rules.
Operating Conditions
A technical pattern is not the only part of a practical review.
The panel also checks operating information such as:
-
Trading session
-
Quote status
-
Spread relative to ATR
-
Available price data
-
Broker conditions needed for the reference plan
These checks help distinguish a visually interesting chart from a condition that is currently difficult to evaluate or use.
Session
The broker-published session helps determine whether the symbol is currently scheduled to be available.
Trading hours can differ between Forex pairs, metals, stock indices and other CFDs.
They can also differ between brokers.
Quote
The quote check helps identify whether the current price information is available and sufficiently current for the completed review.
A stale or unavailable quote can make other displayed calculations less meaningful.
Spread Relative to ATR
The absolute spread does not tell the whole story.
A spread that looks small on one symbol may still be large relative to that symbol’s recent movement.
Comparing spread with ATR provides additional context.
This remains a point-in-time reference because spread and ATR can change.
Understanding the Four Main States
NINJA Setup Confirm MT5 organizes the completed review into four principal states:
-
WAIT
-
ARMED
-
TRIGGERED
-
BLOCKED
The state is a summary.
The detailed reason and the panel values should still be reviewed.
WAIT
WAIT means the current context is not sufficiently complete under the implemented rules.
Possible reasons may include:
-
Weak multi-timeframe alignment
-
Insufficient score
-
No qualifying completed-bar condition
-
Incomplete operating information
-
A reference plan that is not yet available
WAIT does not mean that the symbol is permanently unsuitable.
It describes the current completed review.
ARMED
ARMED means the directional environment is aligned, but all required completed-bar conditions are not yet present.
This can be useful when the broader context deserves attention but the implemented breakout, pullback or continuation requirement has not been completed.
ARMED is still a review state.
It does not instruct the user to place an order in advance.
TRIGGERED
TRIGGERED means that the configured score requirement, a qualifying completed-bar condition and a valid reference plan are present.
This is an important distinction:
TRIGGERED is not a command to place an order.
It does not mean:
-
The next price movement is known
-
The reference levels must be used
-
The symbol must be traded
-
The result will be profitable
-
The user should skip normal chart review
TRIGGERED means that the utility’s implemented checklist has reached its completed condition.
The final decision remains with the user.
BLOCKED
BLOCKED means that an operating, broker or risk-related check has failed.
A blocker may be connected to:
-
Session status
-
Quote condition
-
Spread relative to movement
-
Missing information
-
Broker volume rules
-
Reference-plan calculation
-
Margin limits
-
Another required operating condition
BLOCKED does not disable the symbol, stop another EA or alter the account.
NINJA Setup Confirm MT5 remains read-only.
The status tells the user that the displayed blocker should be reviewed before proceeding further.
The Reference Risk Plan
The panel can calculate reference values for:
-
Entry
-
SL
-
TP
-
Risk Amount
-
Lot
-
Margin
-
Risk-to-Reward
These values are designed to help the user examine whether the selected setup can be translated into a practical risk structure.
They are not an order ticket.
They do not place anything into the market.
Reference Entry
The Entry value is derived from the implemented completed-bar setup logic.
It is a calculation reference, not a requirement to transact at that price.
The market may already have moved by the time the user reviews the panel.
Reference SL
The SL value provides a reference invalidation level under the implemented rules.
The financial distance between Entry and SL depends on:
-
Symbol price
-
Contract size
-
Tick value
-
Account currency
-
Broker specification
Reference TP and Risk-to-Reward
The TP value is derived from the configured risk-to-reward relationship.
Risk-to-reward is a planning ratio.
It does not tell the user how likely the target is to be reached.
Risk Amount and Lot
The utility can use OrderCalcProfit to estimate the financial loss between the reference Entry and SL in the account currency.
The reference lot is then adjusted to the broker’s permitted volume step.
This matters because a theoretically calculated lot may not match the volume increments accepted by the broker.
Reference Margin
The utility can use OrderCalcMargin to estimate the required margin.
When the configured free-margin limit would be exceeded, the reference lot can be reduced.
The result can still differ from a later order because price, leverage, margin rules and account conditions can change.
Commission and future slippage may also affect the actual result.
A Practical Review Workflow
A structured workflow can be:
-
Find a candidate through Market Watch, your own analysis or a multi-symbol tool.
-
Open the candidate’s chart.
-
Attach NINJA Setup Confirm MT5.
-
Allow the panel to complete its review.
-
Check the M15, H1 and H4 context.
-
Review EMA alignment, RSI, ADX/DI and ATR.
-
Check Session, Quote and Spread/ATR.
-
Read the completed-bar Breakout, Pullback or Continuation condition.
-
Review whether the state is WAIT, ARMED, TRIGGERED or BLOCKED.
-
Read the specific reason rather than judging only the state label.
-
Examine the reference Entry, SL, TP, Risk Amount, Lot, Margin and risk-to-reward.
-
Compare the panel with the actual chart and broker conditions.
-
Test the workflow on a demo account before considering live use.
The panel organizes the review.
It does not replace it.
Detailed English Long Guide
I published a detailed English walkthrough showing the process after a candidate has already been found:

This is the main operating guide for users who want to see the panel and workflow in more detail.
A Separate 59-Second Shorts Overview
A separate vertical overview is also available:
Is the Setup Really Ready? | NINJA Setup Confirm MT5 #Shorts
This Short was produced with a dedicated script, newly generated narration and new vertical scenes rather than being a simple excerpt from the longer video.
It quickly introduces:
-
Multi-Timeframe Context
-
Completed-Bar Setup
-
Reference Risk Plan
-
WAIT, ARMED, TRIGGERED and BLOCKED
-
Why TRIGGERED still requires the user’s own decision
The Short is the quick introduction.
The longer video provides the more detailed walkthrough.
Help and Optional Alerts
An in-panel Help view explains how the states and checklist should be interpreted.
The panel can also support optional:
-
Popup alerts
-
Sound alerts
-
MT5 push notifications
Alerts are evaluated only after a completed check.
An alert reports that the configured review condition has changed or completed.
It does not place an order and does not remove the need to inspect the chart.
Who May Find It Useful?
NINJA Setup Confirm MT5 may be useful for users who:
-
Monitor several symbols but want a consistent one-chart review process
-
Find candidates with a scanner and need a second-stage checklist
-
Prefer completed-bar conditions over changing intrabar impressions
-
Want multi-timeframe context and operating conditions in one panel
-
Want reference risk figures before making an independent decision
-
Compare how the same workflow behaves across brokers or account types
-
Develop or test EAs and want a structured discretionary review beside them
The utility does not inspect the private logic of another EA.
It reviews the current chart symbol using its own implemented rules.
Market Radar and Setup Confirm Are Different Stages
NINJA Market Radar MT5 works across multiple symbols visible in Market Watch.
Its role is to narrow a large list into candidates that may deserve closer review.
NINJA Setup Confirm MT5 works on one selected chart symbol.
Its role is to examine that candidate using:
-
Multi-timeframe context
-
Completed-bar conditions
-
Operating checks
-
A reference risk plan
Market Radar asks:
Which charts may be worth reviewing next?
Setup Confirm asks:
Now that one candidate has been selected, what does its detailed checklist show?
A high Market Radar ranking does not automatically produce a completed Setup Confirm state.
The two utilities represent different stages of the review process.
Other NINJA Utilities Also Have Different Roles
NINJA Symbol Passport MT5 reviews broker-provided symbol specifications and current trading conditions across multiple symbols.
Ninja MT5 Doctor captures a one-time diagnostic snapshot of the basic MT5 and EA operating environment.
Ninja EA Portfolio Guard MT5 monitors account-wide risk information and can perform configured protection actions.
NINJA Setup Confirm MT5 does not perform those functions.
Its scope is the detailed read-only review of the current chart symbol.
Important Limitations
NINJA Setup Confirm MT5 does not:
-
Send, modify or close orders
-
Change an open position
-
Decide whether the user should trade
-
Predict future price movement
-
Confirm compatibility with another EA
-
Promise a profitable outcome
-
Include every possible commission or future slippage condition
-
Replace official broker specifications
-
Replace independent chart analysis
Displayed values can change with:
-
Current price
-
Broker specifications
-
Account type
-
Leverage
-
Commission
-
Slippage
-
Available historical data
-
Quote updates
-
Session changes
Important contract and account conditions should be confirmed with the broker.
The utility should first be tested on a demo account.
Candidate Found Does Not Mean Decision Complete
Finding a candidate reduces the search area.
It does not finish the process.
The next step is to review:
-
Context
-
Completed bars
-
Operating conditions
-
Reference risk
-
The actual chart
-
The user’s own rules
NINJA Setup Confirm MT5 is designed to organize that second-stage review in one panel.
It provides a checklist and reference plan.
The final decision remains with the user.
