Most retail volatility indicators rely on historical, lagging moving averages that skew during trending markets.WH Regime Levels takes an institutional approach. By calculating normalized return variance and anchoring the projection strictly to the current bar's open, it visualizes the live statistical probability of the current session.
Instead of guessing where momentum will die or where a breakout becomes statistically significant, this tool projects a precision "Decision Level" forward on your chart in real-time.
When price enters these zones, the market is forcing a regime shift.
How to Trade the Level
The indicator draws a dynamic upper Level(Red) and lower Level (Blue), mapped directly from the open price. These zones represent extreme statistical deviation for that specific asset and timeframe.

Momentum Breakouts: A sustained, high-volume break through and closing beyond the Regime Zone indicates a structural shift in market momentum. The asset is entering a new volatility regime, offering high-probability continuation setups.

Mean Reversion: When price rapidly spikes into the Regime Zone early in a candle's lifespan without fundamental catalysts, it is mathematically overextended. Look for exhaustion wicks or lower-timeframe double tops inside the zone to fade the move back to the open price.
