Overview
Vortex Traders RSI is a professional Expert Advisor for MetaTrader 5, designed and optimized exclusively for trading the XAU/USD (Spot Gold) pair. It combines market structure analysis using Liquidity Sweeps and Fair Value Gaps (FVG) with a multi-indicator confluence filtering system, advanced risk management, and a real-time visual dashboard. All in one compact, robust EA ready for live accounts.
⚙️ ENTRY STRATEGY AND LOGIC
The EA automatically detects liquidity sweeps and fair value gaps on closed candles and waits for the area to clear before entering a trade. Signals are validated using a configurable confluence system that can combine up to four technical filters simultaneously:
RSI (primary filter): entries only on confirmed momentum, blocking trades in extreme zones or areas without a clear direction.
Stochastic: confirmation of K/D crossovers in relevant zones.
Momentum: validation of momentum above the equilibrium line.
Williams %R: confirmation of overbought/oversold zones. The MinFiltersToPass parameter allows you to define how many filters must match to enable an entry, avoiding low-quality signals.
It also incorporates price action pattern recognition on detected zones: Harami, Tweezer, and Marubozu, with configurable minimum body detection.
Turbo Aggressive Mode extends the lookback for signals on each new candlestick, maximizing opportunities without sacrificing the validation logic.
🛡️ RISK MANAGEMENT
The risk management system is one of the pillars of the Expert Advisor (EA). It features three selectable modes:
Fixed Lot: constant position size
Fixed Percentage of Balance: lot size calculated based on the Stop Loss and the risk per trade
Dynamic Equity: automatic adjustment based on current equity
Active protections at all times:
Maximum daily loss limit (in %) with automatic reset the following day
Limit on simultaneous open positions
Limit on total accumulated volume
Maximum margin usage control
Minimum free margin control
Automatic blocking for high spreads
Configurable session time filter
The minimum risk/reward ratio (MinRiskReward) acts as an additional filter before opening any trade.
📈 OPEN POSITION MANAGEMENT
Automatic Trailing Stop: Activates when the defined threshold is exceeded, following the price with a configurable step.
Automatic Break Even: Moves the Stop Loss to the entry price plus a safety buffer when the defined trigger is reached.
SL/TP modification with automatic retries in case of server error.
🖥️ PROFESSIONAL VISUAL PANEL
The EA includes a real-time control panel integrated directly into the chart, with a dark, whiteboard-style background and minimalist design. It displays in real time:
RSI value and status (Bullish / Bearish / Overbought / Oversold) with a visual progress bar.
Current active signal.
Open P&L and daily P&L.
Session win rate and total trades.
Open positions vs. maximum allowed.
Total accumulated volume.
Current Equity and Balance.
