Risk management


Golden Surfer uses a fixed Stop Loss and Take Profit model. Losing trades are normal and expected.

  2. Attach Golden Surfer to XAUUSD on M15

⚙️ EA Settings & Usage Guide

The EA is extremely easy to use.
All you need to do is choose the risk per trade that matches your risk tolerance.

🎯 Risk per trade

  • Select the risk level according to your preferences.

  • If you are trading with prop firms, I recommend 2–5% risk, depending on your prop firm’s daily drawdown limits.

🏢 Prop firm trading

  • Always adjust the risk so it comfortably fits within the firm’s rules.

  • Lower risk = more stability and fewer violations.

🔧 Other settings

  • All other parameters can be left at default values.

📰 News filter

  • The news filter is optional.

  • You can enable or disable it at your discretion (disabled by default).
