London & New York 15M ORB
London & New York 15M ORB is a clean and lightweight MetaTrader 5 indicator designed to identify and visualize the Opening Range of the London and New York trading sessions.
The indicator automatically calculates the High, Midpoint and Low of the first 15-minute range of each session and displays these levels directly on the chart.
Key Features
London & New York ORB
Automatically calculates separate Opening Ranges for:
- London Session — 10:00 GMT+3 during DST / GMT+2 during standard time
- New York Session — 16:30 GMT+3 during DST / GMT+2 during standard time
The first 15-minute range is calculated dynamically while the session is forming.
Once the 15-minute range is complete, the final:
- ORB High
- ORB Mid
- ORB Low
are clearly displayed on the chart.
Automatic GMT Offset Adjustment
The indicator automatically adjusts between:
- GMT+2 — Standard Time
- GMT+3 — Daylight Saving Time
No manual seasonal adjustment is required.
Multi-Timeframe Support
The ORB is calculated from M1 market data but remains visible across:
- M1
- M3
- M5
- M15
- M30
This allows traders to analyze the same Opening Range levels regardless of the selected timeframe.
Configurable ORB Extensions
Control how far each ORB level extends after the opening range has been established.
London and New York extensions can be configured independently.
Custom Colors
Choose individual colors for:
- ORB High
- ORB Mid
- ORB Low
for both London and New York sessions.
Clear ORB Labels
Optional labels identify each level:
London
- LDN ORB HIGH
- LDN ORB MID
- LDN ORB LOW
New York
- NY ORB HIGH

Market Dashboard
A compact dashboard is positioned in the upper-right corner of the chart and displays:
- ORB Range — range size in pips
- ORB High
- ORB Mid
- ORB Low
- 5M Trend
- 15M Trend
- Daily Bias
The directional analysis is based on the 50-period EMA using Close price.
Trend conditions are displayed as:
- 5m BULLISH
- 5m BEARISH
- 15m BULLISH
- 15m BEARISH
- Daily BIAS BULLISH
- Daily BIAS BEARISH
Pip-Based ORB Measurement
The indicator automatically calculates the Opening Range size in pips and adapts the pip calculation to the traded instrument.
