The Market Top 10: Why "Success Stories" Aren't Strategies

What's up, folks!

Well, we’ve finally reached the point I’ve been talking about for two years while gold was steadily climbing. I kept warning that as soon as gold stopped its growth, all those "golden" accounts would go down the drain.

The current situation — where the top 10 are basically the same mediocre EA drawing a pretty graph on a single symbol — is simply a result of market ignorance. You could call it an "anomaly of stupidity," if you will.

Below, I haven't attempted a deep-dive analysis; I've simply gathered some statistics on the actual profits these "miracle strategy" sellers are making.

Here are my thoughts on how this actually works. The MQL5 Market is a great platform. It's filled with thousands of hungry, ambitious sellers who keep churning out whatever sells. The truth is, only the "success" stories get noticed. Out of all the trash being sold here, a few things are bound to work by pure accident. That's all it is — pure luck.

Not a single seller says a word about what is actually under the hood of their strategies. They demonstrate nothing about their actual development process. Are they really developing anything? What have they actually created? What real progress has been made thanks to the arrival of powerful AI in programming? Absolutely nothing.

More importantly, all this "gold-mining" junk has completely stopped working since spring, when gold's relentless rally ended. In other words, if you installed any of these strategies since then, you've likely just seen your balance go up and down with zero net profit.

It's clear that last year's leaders — who made a killing with "strategies" that were basically 99% "Buy" trades — are long gone. But there are still users who believe they can become millionaires in a week, or a month at most.

The Bottom Line:

1) A professional, robust approach must be able to work across different symbols.
2) There should be a clear, verifiable description of the strategy's advantages, without the fluff about it being "the best."
3) There should be concrete evidence of what has changed with the arrival of AI and how it specifically improved the logic.

As an example of my own work — and a genuine innovation in EA development — I have Volume Reaper. It is based on volume bars. Unlike standard price charts, volume bars reveal the actual money flow and intent of big players, allowing the strategy to spot real trend reversals rather than just chasing price. This provides a much more objective basis for entries, filtering out the "noise" that usually traps retail traders.

1/ My AI Gold
Published September 2026, last update October 2026
155 purchases in the last month
15 reviews (approx. 160 total purchases)
Max revenue of the author approx. 120K USD

Pros:
- Trades on volatile Gold.

Cons:
- Only works on a single symbol.
- It processes the backtest so quickly that it's hard to believe it's actually using a modern neural network.

Conclusion: This whole thing seems off. Take this phrase from the description: "models aggregated from elite open-source GitHub frameworks." What does "elite" even mean in this context? First of all, if you run a test, you'll see there's no actual neural network involved—maybe just something to keep track of the history. It processes the chart incredibly fast. It's instantaneous, even on an hourly chart where those "elite" models should be doing calculations every hour. Alternatively, the whole thing might just be a sham. It's likely just a basic Martingale strategy that's been getting lucky over the last few months.

2/ The Gold Reaper MT5
Published February 2024, last update October 2026
134 purchases in the last month
121 reviews (approx. 1200 total purchases)
Max revenue of the author approx. 1M USD

Pros:
- Trades on volatile Gold.

Cons:
- Only works on a single symbol.
- The signal has been running for two years, but 80% of the profit was made in just one month. What happened during the rest of the time?

Conclusion: Definitely not. It seems like when the top-selling EAs started crashing, users began looking for alternatives and realized there are plenty of other strategies out there. I remember this one from a few months ago; it kept moving up and down in the rankings. Based on the reviews, it was a bit hit or miss. Unlike "My AI Gold," this strategy takes way too long to calculate. This suggests that it actually is using a neural network, despite the author saying otherwise. And frankly, it must be a poorly implemented one if it's that slow on just one symbol.

3/ Quantum Titan MT5
Published August 2026, last update October 2026
36 purchases in the last month
52 reviews (approx. 500 total purchases)
Max revenue of the author approx. 500K USD

Pros:
- Trades on volatile Gold.

Cons:
- Only works on a single symbol.
- Well, here's another "great" signal that's been holding up for six months now...

Conclusion: This is just another "quantum" development from the same author, who churns these things out constantly. As long as people keep buying them, everything's fine. The signal crashes every six months, and then he just has to release a new "quantum." I still remember the one for GBPUSD — it worked for a while, until it hit nearly an 80% drawdown.

4/ MoonDog EA
Published July 2026, last update October 2026
104 purchases in the last month
45 reviews (approx. 450 total purchases)
Max revenue of the author approx. 121K USD

Pros:
- Trades on volatile Gold.

Cons:
- Only works on a single symbol.
- The description is vague about what users are supposedly meant to avoid in strategies, but it doesn't say a word about the approach this specific strategy actually uses.

Conclusion: I just don't see a professional description of the strategy here. What is all this? A lecture on how ONNX models work in MetaTrader — who even cares about that? And then there's some "clever" approach to closing and partially closing trades; is that supposed to be a foolproof method for a single symbol? The author says it doesn't use loss averaging — fine, it doesn't, though that's actually a great approach, which is exactly why hedging accounts were created. Just tell me what the actual logic is!

5/ EA Super Trend XAUUSD
Published September 2026, last update October 2026
188 purchases in the last month
43 reviews (approx. 450 total purchases)
Max revenue of the author approx. 195K USD

Pros:
- Trades on volatile Gold.

Cons:
- Only works on a single symbol.
- This is probably the most naive description of strategy "features" I've ever seen.

Conclusion: Just more nonsense from someone who thinks that knowing how to use the MQL5 environment is the same thing as actual programming. The strategy description is full of the most basic, naive features you can implement in MQL5: partial closes, stop-losses to "prevent losses," two-stage signal filtering... none of that has ever guaranteed a profit. Is this really the best you can do in the age of AI? The strategy has clearly just been overfit to historical data, and the description is basically just a list of everything found in an MQL5 textbook.

6/ Quantum Queen X MT5
Published July 2026, last update July 2026
17 purchases in the last month
88 reviews (approx. 800 total purchases)
Max revenue of the author approx. 800K USD

Pros:
- Trades on volatile Gold.

Cons:
- Only works on a single symbol.
- Buy this and you'll get everything that's been done before — well, basically the same thing with a different name... for free!

Conclusion: If the strategy actually works and the approach is solid, why keep releasing the same thing over and over? There’s no real description of the strategy — I already mentioned this at the beginning. I'm not just repeating myself, but there is absolutely no track record of this author's development work. No proof of what he’s actually achieved. All we get are claims about "the latest developments," which are obviously just the same product with different names: Quantum Gold, Quantum Gold X, Quantum Queen, Quantum Queen Gold X...

7/ Quantum iGold MT5
Published July 2026, last update October 2026
219 purchases in the last month
93 reviews (approx. 900 total purchases)
Max revenue of the author approx. 100K USD

Pros:
- Trades on volatile Gold.

Cons:
- Only works on a single symbol.
- A Transformer neural net is not just overkill for binary analysis on a single Forex symbol; it's essentially a scam designed to prey on people's ignorance.

Conclusion: The author clearly spotted a keyword that sells well on the market — "quantum" — and just slapped it onto his own version at a tenth of the price. I guess it worked; he made a nice profit. Most people still believe there's some secret to trading Gold. This isn't a real strategy. The backtest is just a straight diagonal line going up. The guy can't even implement dynamic lot sizing. It's honestly pathetic.

8/ Gold Beaver
Published May 2026, last update October 2026
59 purchases in the last month
9 reviews (approx. 90 total purchases)
Max revenue of the author approx. 36K USD

Pros:
- Trades on volatile Gold.

Cons:
- Only works on a single symbol.

Conclusion: The description claims: no Martingale, no grids, and no averaging. Seriously, guys, why are you making this kind of stuff? What makes you so sure that Martingale is worse than whatever you're creating? And as for averaging — that's a specific approach designed specifically for hedging accounts! You've got to realize that it's not a flaw; it's actually an advantage.

9/ Ultimate Breakout System
Published May 2025, last update October 2026
32 purchases in the last month
63 reviews (approx. 630 total purchases)
Max revenue of the author approx. 280K USD

Pros:
- Should I say: Nothing?

Cons:
- This is really a mess.

Conclusion: Instead of developing a real strategy, the author just threw in everything he thought was important based on his basic knowledge of MQL5. It's kind of like mastering the "hard" level in an app like Simply Piano, without realizing that "hard" in a beginner's app is still just the absolute basics. I ran it on Gold, and it's made zero profit since spring, exactly when Gold stopped its two-year rally. It's a classic case where they've all failed, yet users still don't believe it and keep on buying.

10/ TitanForge EA MT5
Published September 2026, last update September 2026
46 purchases in the last month
11 reviews (approx. 100 total purchases)
Max revenue of the author approx. 59K USD

Pros:
- Trades on volatile Gold.

Cons:
- Only works on a single symbol.

Conclusion: It's just another guide on how to use MetaTrader and how to check drawdown and profit, with not a single word about the actual core of the strategy. Why is this not just another "super-mega-profitable" piece of junk that's either better — or more likely, worse — than all the other mediocre stuff in the top 10?
