There’s no need to use hundreds of indicators for trading; in fact, it can be frustrating to have numerous indicators delivering the same information. The key to success in the markets lies in simplicity, not complexity, as the more indicators you use, the harder it becomes to make decisions. To be profitable, just one indicator to measure the trend and another to determine if an asset is overbought or oversold is enough. With this focus on simplicity, XPulse has been developed over several years to exploit an inefficiency in the AUDCAD currency pair. This scalping-momentum system intelligently capitalizes on counter-trends, proving that a straightforward, well-designed approach can be highly effective.

For optimal results, it is recommended to use RAW spread accounts at ECN brokers, such as IC Markets Raw, FP Markets Raw, Fusion Markets Raw, and Afterprime Raw. WARNING!: Although this robot is not broker sensitive (you can use any broker), brokers with lower spreads and better conditions make the yield curve better over the long term. To achieve the same results as my live accounts, it is recommended to use the same broker. Using a different broker may lead to small differences in results. Referring to leverage, it is advisable to use accounts with a minimum of 1:200 and preferably 1:500.

Backtesting: To perform a high-quality backtest that accurately reflects real account conditions, it is essential to use the appropriate tools. We will be using data from Dukascopy and a backtesting program such as Tick Data Suite, which offers 99.9% quality (although it is a paid service, a 14-day free trial is available here). Backtests have to be performed in a M1 timeframe with fixed spreads.

Regarding EA risk management, you can choose your initial lot size.

If you prefer to use an automatic lot size as your account capital increases, you can activate compound risk. This option increases the lot size per trade based on your capital.

It is crucial to consider risk management in order to achieve success in trading. For clients who are comfortable with risk, I suggest using 0.01 lots per $300. For more risk-averse clients and also my recommendation, use 0.01 lots per $500. 

Hard stop loss

Once an equity reduction of 40% is reached the EA will cut all trades.

The maximum number of positions to be opened simultaneously in the EA.
