to appear in the US Congress twice this week ... its "The Semiannual
Monetary Policy Report to the Congress". Both events start at 10:00 EDT
in Washington
- On Tuesday (21 June 2016) Yellen testifies on monetary policy before the Senate Committee on Banking, Housing and Urban Affairs
- (Note - later in the day, at 16:30, Yellen joins U.S. Treasury Secretary Lew at a meeting of the Financial Stability Oversight Council
- On Wednesday Yellen testifies before the House Financial Services Committee
