AurumEdge Standard is an Expert Advisor for gold (XAUUSD) on MetaTrader 5. It combines four independent trading engines in one EA. Each engine looks for its own type of opportunity, so the EA does not rely on a single idea. It trades in both directions.

Backtest (Strategy Tester, not live results)
XAUUSD, 1 January 2022 to 30 September 2026, $10,000 start, default settings, MetaQuotes data with 100% real ticks:
net result +203%, maximum drawdown 11.4%, profit factor 1.31, about 8 trades per week, 57% winning trades. Every calendar year in the test ended positive, with smaller gains in 2023 and 2026. Past results, including backtests, do not guarantee future results.
Recommendations
- Symbol: XAUUSD (gold). Chart timeframe: M15.
- Account: $1,000 or more recommended. Hedging or netting accounts.
- Run on a VPS so the EA works 24 hours a day, 5 days a week.
- For the news filter with Forex Factory, add https://nfs.faireconomy.media in Tools > Options > Expert Advisors > Allow WebRequest (optional; the MT5 calendar is used without it).
- Start on a demo account to get familiar with the settings.
