Step 1: Create a MT5 Trading Account

1. Choose a reputable forex/CFD broker that offers MetaTrader 5 (MT5).
2. Go to the broker’s official website and sign up for a Demo Trading Account (recommended first to test the bot safely) or a Live Trading Account.
3. During registration, make sure to select MT5 as your trading platform.
4. Once your account is created, check your email for your account credentials:
   
   
   • Login / Account Number
     
     
   • Password
     
     
   • Server Name (e.g., BrokerName-Demo or BrokerName-Live)
     
     

Step 2: Download and Install the MT5 App

1. Go to the official MetaTrader 5 website (metatrader5.com ) or download it from your broker's website.
   
   
2. Download and install MetaTrader 5 on your computer (Desktop) or mobile device. (Note: Automated trading bots/Expert Advisors perform best on the MT5 Windows Desktop application, Mac or a Windows VPS).
   
   

Step 3: Connect Your Trading Account to the MT5 App

1. Open the MT5 platform.
   
   
2. On desktop, click on File > Open an Account, or go to the Navigator panel, right-click Accounts, and select Login to Trade Account.
   
   
3. Enter your account login details:
   
   
   • Enter your Login number.
     
     
   • Enter your account Password.
     
     
   • Select the exact Server provided by your broker.
     
     
4. Click Finish. You will hear a confirmation chime, and your account balance will appear in the Toolbox/Terminal window at the bottom, confirming you are connected.
   
   

Step 4: Open the XAUUSD Chart and Set to D1

1. Look for the Market Watch window on the left side of your MT5 screen (if it is not visible, press Ctrl + M ).
   
   
2. Right-click anywhere inside the Market Watch window and select Symbols (or press Ctrl + U ).
   
   
3. Find XAUUSD (Gold vs US Dollar) under the metals or forex category, click it, and ensure it is set to Show.
   
   
4. In the Market Watch list, click and drag XAUUSD onto the main blank chart area in the center of the screen.
   
   
5. Once the XAUUSD chart appears, change the timeframe to D1 (Daily Chart) by doing one of the following:
   
   
   • Click the D1 icon on the top toolbar.
     
     
   • Right-click anywhere on the open chart, select Timeframes, and choose Daily (D1).
     
     

Step 5: Download and Attach the Bot from the MQL Market

1. Open your web browser and go to the bot's MQL Market link (https://shorturl.at/cY4Ka), or search for the product directly inside the MT5 terminal via the Market tab at the bottom. The name is GoldUSD EA.
   
   
2. Click Download (or purchase/rent if it is a paid product). If it requires a rental or purchase, ensure you are logged into your MQL5 community account inside MT5 via Tools > Options > Community.
   
   
3. Once downloaded, the bot will appear in your MT5 Navigator panel under Expert Advisors > Market.
   
   
4. Enable Automated Trading: Click the Algo Trading (or Expert Advisors) button on the top toolbar so that it turns green. This allows the bot to place trades.
   
   
5. Attach the Bot: Drag the bot from the Navigator panel directly onto your open XAUUSD D1 chart.
   
   
6. A settings window will pop up:
   
   
   • Go to the Common tab and check "Allow DLL imports" and "Allow modification of signal settings" if required by the bot.
     
     
   • Adjust your input parameters (such as risk percentage, lot sizes, etc.) under the Inputs tab.
     
     
7. Click OK. A happy smiley face or graduation blue hat icon will appear in the top-right corner of your XAUUSD D1 chart, indicating that your bot is successfully running and actively monitoring the market!
