▬▬▬ THE PROBLEM ▬▬▬
Most SSL channels use a fixed-speed moving average. That means the line reacts the same whether price is trending hard or grinding sideways — it either lags in a real move or whipsaws you in a choppy one. You adjust the period, it helps in one market, breaks in another.
Every bar you misread the trend direction is a trade you enter late, size wrong, or skip entirely.
▬▬▬ THE SOLUTION ▬▬▬
Fabii Nma Ssl Channel uses Jim Sloman's Natural Moving Average — an adaptive algorithm that measures the natural momentum of price and adjusts its speed accordingly. In a strong trend it moves fast. In noise it barely moves at all. The SSL channel (high, median, low) is built entirely on this NMA, so the trend line hugs lows in uptrends and highs in downtrends, and only flips when the close genuinely breaks the opposite band.
▬▬▬ HOW IT WORKS ▬▬▬
Three NMA curves are computed — one on highs, one on medians, one on lows — forming a channel. The trend state flips from up to down when the close breaks the upper NMA, and from down to up when it breaks the lower NMA. The result is a single colored line: green when the trend is up (acting as support), red when the trend is down (acting as resistance). The TEMA smoother inside the NMA filters micro-oscillations before the momentum ratio is applied, so the channel reacts to structure, not to tick noise.

- One clear SSL line — green in uptrends, red in downtrends — which means you read the bias at a glance without interpreting curves or crossovers.
- Adaptive NMA channel — speed adjusts to natural price momentum — which means fewer whipsaws in ranging markets without sacrificing reaction in real trends.
- Flip only on bar close — the line changes side only when the close confirms the break — which means no mid-bar noise triggers a false signal.
- No repaint — signals are final on bar close — which means what you saw yesterday is still there today.
- Live provisional bar — a dotted line shows the unconfirmed state on the forming candle — which means you can prepare your entry without waiting for the close.
- Alerts on flip — popup, sound, and push notifications on confirmed SSL flips — which means you never miss a trend change even when you are away from the screen.
- Works on any pair, any timeframe, any market.

▬▬▬ HOW TO USE IT ▬▬▬
- Attach the indicator to any chart. The SSL line appears immediately.
- Green line = trend is up. Trade long, use the line as a dynamic support level.
- Red line = trend is down. Trade short or stand aside; use the line as resistance.
- Enter on the first bar that closes after a flip — the dotted provisional line lets you anticipate the flip before the close.
- Set alerts so you are notified the moment a confirmed flip occurs.
▬▬▬ PROOF / WHY TRUST IT ▬▬▬
No repaint — every signal is locked on bar close and never moves after. You can verify this yourself: attach the indicator, let a bar close, and check that the value in the Data Window does not change on the next tick.
