Gold Sniper MT5 for XAUUSD

Gold Sniper MT5 is an automated Expert Advisor developed for XAUUSD trading on MetaTrader 5. It combines session-based momentum analysis, completed-candle confirmation and controlled basket management in one system.

The EA manages its analysis timeframes internally. For results comparable with the historical tests shown below, use XAUUSD on M15 with a hedging account and realistic broker costs.

Maximum equity drawdown at a glance: 4.84% in the $800 test, 2.29% in the $10,000 test and 1.44% in the $100,000 test. All three verified tests remained below 5%, while the $10,000 and above ProSafe set tests remained below 3%.

Trading approach

Gold Sniper evaluates completed M5 candles and looks for momentum conditions during selected trading sessions. It can trade long and short setups and manages each basket until its exit or protection rules are reached.

The engine includes:

Three ProSafe account profiles

Version 8.23 is supported by three separately calibrated ProSafe set files:

1. $800 to below $10,000
   Recommended starting balance: at least $1,000. This profile uses the smallest practical XAUUSD volume and a two-position basket limit.
2. $10,000 to below $100,000
   Position sizing and basket capacity are scaled for medium account balances.
3. $100,000 and above
   A large-account profile with wider volume capacity so recovery is not disabled by a small-account basket ceiling.

Each profile has its own magic number, position sizing, basket-volume cap, loss limit, margin gate, cooldown and circuit-breaker settings.

Before live use, select the correct ProSafe profile and reproduce the test with the intended broker's historical data.

Basket and recovery management

The recovery system does not use exponential lot multiplication. Additional positions use controlled volume and are restricted by the selected profile's maximum position count and total basket-volume limit.

Pausing the EA blocks new exposure while existing positions remain under exit and protection management. Gold Sniper also reads the broker's published symbol sessions and defers orders when the market is closed.

Installation

1. Install the latest Gold Sniper version from MQL5 Market.
2. Open an XAUUSD M15 chart.
3. Attach the EA and enable Algo Trading.
4. Load the ProSafe set file matching the account balance.
5. Confirm that the dashboard shows the expected magic number and risk settings.
6. Run a real-tick Strategy Tester test with the intended broker before considering live trading.

Support is available through the product Comments section and MQL5 messaging. When requesting help, include the broker name, account type, XAUUSD symbol name, EA version, selected set file and relevant Journal messages.
