A configurable MT5 Expert Advisor for breakout trading, with controls for pending orders, position management, and account risk limits.

Overview

The EA is designed for XAUUSD on M15 by default. It uses the chart symbol unless you enter a different symbol in the settings. You can choose among several breakout setup types based on recent price action, a lookback range, a session range, or ATR distance. An optional higher-timeframe trend filter is available.

Pending orders and position management:

The EA can place a multi-level Buy Stop and Sell Stop ladder. OCO is enabled by default: after one side triggers, it attempts to cancel pending orders on the opposite side. Open positions continue to be managed, and the EA retries a cancellation if broker freeze rules temporarily prevent it.

Position size can use a fixed lot amount or an optional percentage of equity. The default requested size is 0.01 lots; the broker’s volume limits and steps apply.

Stop Loss and Take Profit can use fixed distances, ATR-based distances, or a reward-to-risk setting. Optional break-even and percentage-based trailing stop features let you define when stop management begins.

Controls and chart display:

Settings include pending-order refresh and expiry, maximum spread, trading hours, a Friday cutoff, a daily entry limit, a daily loss limit, and an equity drawdown limit. The EA also checks broker trading sessions, order and volume limits, margin, stop distances, and freeze levels before relevant trade requests.

On the chart, you can display breakout levels, pending entries, open-position entry and stop levels, and a dashboard with order and account-protection status.
