VIBAVINA SmartVolume Copier
When Individual Trades Are Too Small to Copy
A common challenge in trade copying appears when the Master opens many small or minimum-volume positions, while the Slave account has significantly smaller capital.
If every trade is reduced individually, the calculated Slave volume may fall below the broker's minimum lot size.
For example:
Master:
12 BUY positions x 0.01 lot
Total BUY volume = 0.12 lot
Lot Ratio = 0.25
A trade-by-trade copier would need:
0.01 x 0.25 = 0.0025 lot per trade
If the Slave broker requires a minimum volume of 0.01 lot, each calculated trade is too small to place.
VIBAVINA SmartVolume Copier uses a different approach.
Instead of reproducing every individual Master position, it groups eligible Master positions by symbol and direction and synchronizes the resulting total volume.
For the same example:
Master total BUY volume = 0.12 lot
Lot Ratio = 0.25
Slave target BUY volume = 0.03 lot
The copier does not need to reproduce every individual Master position. Its purpose is to synchronize the resulting exposure volume.
HOW IT WORKS
VIBAVINA SmartVolume Copier operates in MASTER or SLAVE mode.
The MASTER collects eligible open positions and groups them by:
- Symbol
- Direction (BUY or SELL)
For each group, the MASTER calculates:
- Total volume
- Number of positions
The SLAVE reads the grouped Master exposure and calculates its target volume using:
Slave Target Volume = Master Total Volume x Lot Ratio
The SLAVE then adjusts its copier-managed volume toward that target while respecting the broker's volume requirements.
LOT RATIO
Lot Ratio controls the relative volume copied to a Slave account.
Examples:
Lot Ratio = 1.00
Master 0.12 lot -> Slave target 0.12 lot
Lot Ratio = 0.50
Master 0.12 lot -> Slave target 0.06 lot
Lot Ratio = 0.25
Master 0.12 lot -> Slave target 0.03 lot
Different Slave terminals can use different Lot Ratios while following the same Master.
BROKER MINIMUM VOLUME AND VOLUME STEP
Calculated target volumes may not always be directly tradable because brokers define minimum volume and volume step requirements.
VIBAVINA SmartVolume Copier respects the broker's permitted volume increments.
For example, with a minimum volume and volume step of 0.01 lot:
Master total = 0.12 lot
Lot Ratio = 0.10
Calculated Slave target = 0.012 lot
The copier can place 0.01 lot. The remaining target difference stays below the broker's tradable step.
Another example:
Master total = 0.08 lot
Lot Ratio = 0.10
Calculated Slave target = 0.008 lot
No order is placed because the calculated volume is below the broker's minimum tradable volume.
When the Master target becomes zero, copier-managed Slave exposure is closed according to the synchronization logic.
MULTIPLE TRADING SOURCES ON THE MASTER
The Master account can also be used as an aggregation account.
Positions on the Master may originate from:
- Manual trading
- Another Expert Advisor
- Another trade copier
- Other eligible trading sources
When Filter by Magic Number is disabled, VIBAVINA can aggregate all eligible Master positions regardless of their source.
When Filter by Magic Number is enabled, only positions matching the configured Magic Number are included.
This makes it possible to synchronize the resulting Master exposure instead of reproducing the structure of every individual source trade.
HEDGING AND NETTING SUPPORT
VIBAVINA SmartVolume Copier supports Slave accounts using Hedging or Netting position accounting.
On Hedging accounts, copier-managed positions are isolated using the configured Copier Magic Number.
On Netting accounts, multiple trades for the same symbol are merged into one physical broker position.
VIBAVINA maintains its own copier contribution state so that its managed exposure can coexist with manual trades and trades from other EAs or copiers on the same Netting account.
The physical Netting position can therefore differ from VIBAVINA's own tracked contribution.
For example:
External exposure = BUY 0.05 lot
VIBAVINA contribution = SELL 0.05 lot
Physical broker position = 0.00 lot
VIBAVINA can continue tracking its own contribution independently.
SYMBOL CONVERSION
Different brokers may use different symbol names.
VIBAVINA provides configurable symbol conversion using:
- Remove Master Prefix
- Remove Master Suffix
- Add Slave Prefix
- Add Slave Suffix
- Symbol Mapping
- Allowed Master Symbols
Example:
Master symbol: XAUUSDm
Remove Master Suffix: m
Result: XAUUSD
Another example:
Master symbol: XAUUSD
Add Slave Suffix: .c
Result: XAUUSD.c
Custom Symbol Mapping can be used for special cases.
Example:
XAUUSDm=GOLD;EURUSDm=EURUSD.c
Explicit Symbol Mapping takes priority over prefix and suffix conversion.
MULTIPLE COPIER CHANNELS
Multiple independent copier groups can operate on the same computer or VPS.
Each group uses its own Copier Channel.
Example:
Master A -> Channel 1
Slave A1 -> Channel 1, Lot Ratio 0.10
Slave A2 -> Channel 1, Lot Ratio 0.25
Slave A3 -> Channel 1, Lot Ratio 0.50
Master B -> Channel 2
Slave B1 -> Channel 2, Lot Ratio 0.20
Slave B2 -> Channel 2, Lot Ratio 0.30
Each Slave follows the Master using the same Copier Channel.
Only one Master can control the same channel at the same time. Duplicate Master protection prevents a second Master instance from taking control of an already active channel.
COPY EXISTING TRADES
Copy Existing Trades controls whether positions already open when MASTER mode starts are included.
False:
Existing positions are excluded. Only eligible trading activity after MASTER activation contributes to copied exposure.
True:
Eligible positions already open when MASTER mode starts are included immediately.

When enabled, only Master positions matching the configured Magic Number are included.
Magic Number to Copy
Magic Number used when Filter by Magic Number is enabled.
Copy Existing Trades
Controls whether eligible positions already open when MASTER mode starts are included.
SLAVE SETTINGS
Lot Ratio (Ex: 0.25 = 25%)
Multiplier applied to the grouped Master volume.
Copier Magic Number
Magic Number used to identify copier-managed Slave trades.
Max Deviation (points) (Ex: 30)
Maximum permitted execution deviation in points.
SYMBOL SETTINGS
Remove Master Prefix
Removes a configured prefix from the Master symbol.
Remove Master Suffix
Removes a configured suffix from the Master symbol.
Add Slave Prefix
Adds a configured prefix to the converted Slave symbol.
Add Slave Suffix
Adds a configured suffix to the converted Slave symbol.
Symbol Mapping (Master=Slave)
Defines explicit Master-to-Slave symbol mappings.
Allowed Master Symbols (; separated)
Restricts copying to the specified Master symbols when configured.
IMPORTANT INFORMATION
VIBAVINA SmartVolume Copier is a local copier. The corresponding MASTER and SLAVE MetaTrader 5 terminals must run on the same computer or VPS.
The product does not generate trading signals. It synchronizes eligible Master volume according to the configured settings.
Stop Loss and Take Profit are not copied or synchronized.
Trading execution depends on broker conditions, symbol availability, available margin and trading permissions.
Before use, verify the Copier Channel, Lot Ratio, symbol conversion and Magic Number settings. Testing the intended configuration on demo accounts before live use is recommended.
