Breakouter X6 Portfolio – Multi-Market Breakout System for MetaTrader 5
Breakouter combines six selected markets in one centrally managed breakout portfolio. The Expert Advisor analyzes defined price structures and automatically coordinates entries, Stop Loss, Take Profit, break-even and trailing management across all enabled markets.
The system uses several internally coordinated trading approaches. They complement one another within the portfolio and do not need to be selected or optimized individually by the user.
Trading Portfolio
Breakouter supports the following markets:
- XAUUSD
- USTEC
- XAUCHF
- XAUJPY
- XAGUSD
- XAGEUR
Each market can be enabled or disabled separately. Because symbol names can differ between brokers, the corresponding broker symbol can be assigned in the inputs.
The published reference test uses all six markets. Disabling individual markets may reduce the number of possible orders and the required margin, but it also changes the diversification, trading frequency, risk and results of the tested portfolio.
Swing-Based Breakouts
Breakouter deliberately builds its breakout areas around identified swing highs and swing lows. These areas represent local turning points where the market previously showed a visible reaction.
The EA prepares pending orders near these structures for potential breakout movements. If price repeatedly moves around such an area, several prepared setups may exist at the same time or may be activated one after another.
This can temporarily result in a larger number of pending orders and open positions. This behavior is part of the coordinated portfolio and breakout logic and does not, by itself, indicate a software error.
False Breakouts and Losing Phases
Not every breakout develops into a sustained price movement. Price may briefly move beyond a swing high or swing low and then return to the previous area. Such movements are commonly described as false breakouts or fakeouts.
Because a breakout can only be traded after price moves beyond the relevant area, false breakouts cannot be eliminated completely. When several markets or swing areas are affected in succession, short losing streaks and temporary drawdown phases can occur.
Such periods may make the account curve appear less smooth, but they are a normal characteristic of breakout trading. Breakouter is not designed around winning every individual trade. The relevant outcome is the distribution of a larger series of trades across several markets and different market conditions.
Manual modifications or selectively deleting individual orders can alter the intended sequence and may cause the actual result to differ from the systematic operation of the portfolio.
Internal Strategy Selection
The trading logic consists of several internally coordinated modules. Their selection and strategic parameters are part of the system and do not need to be optimized by the user.
The public inputs focus on the essential decisions:
- selection of the markets to be traded
- assignment of broker symbols
- position-sizing method
- percentage risk size
- maximum permitted spread
- dashboard display and scaling
Position Sizing
Breakouter provides two position-sizing methods.
Minimum Broker Lot
In this mode, Breakouter uses the smallest lot size permitted by the broker for each market. The published reference test was performed using Minimum Broker Lot.
Because the minimum lot, tick value and contract size differ between markets, this mode does not create the same monetary risk on every symbol.
Risk per Trade
In this mode, the lot size is calculated using the selected percentage risk, the Stop Loss distance and the relevant symbol specifications.
The selected percentage applies to one newly opened trade. It is not an account-wide drawdown limit and does not restrict the total risk of all simultaneously open portfolio positions. Multiple parallel positions can therefore increase the aggregate account risk.
In addition to the more conservative Minimum Broker Lot reference test, the same historical period was tested using 1% risk per trade. The results of this dynamic risk variant are shown separately below and must not be interpreted as a limit on total account risk.
News and Increased Volatility
Breakouter deliberately does not use an external economic calendar or a fixed news filter. The system does not attempt to predict the direction or outcome of a news event.
Economic releases, monetary-policy decisions and other news can significantly increase volatility. This may create movements that confirm a prepared breakout and positively affect an already activated trade.
The same volatility may also cause a false breakout, a rapid reversal, slippage or less favorable execution. News events can therefore influence trading results both positively and negatively.
The fact that Breakouter may remain active during such market phases is an intentional characteristic of the trading model. It is not a separate news-trading strategy and does not forecast the event. The EA processes only the resulting price movement through its regular breakout logic.
Market and Execution Safeguards
Breakouter checks various technical trading conditions:
- maximum permitted spread
- available broker trading sessions
- weekend and Friday protection
- minimum distances for orders and Stop Loss levels
- broker freeze level and tick size
- available free margin
- permitted minimum and maximum lot sizes
These checks can reduce technical order errors. They cannot completely prevent slippage, price gaps or insufficient liquidity.
Dashboard
The integrated dashboard displays the current portfolio status on one chart, including:
- balance, equity and free margin
- open positions and pending orders
- open portfolio result
- result after recognized trading costs
- status of each market
- active position-sizing mode
Technical Requirements
Breakouter is designed for a MetaTrader 5 hedging account. Netting accounts are not supported.
Recommended setup:
- Attach Breakouter to an XAUUSD M5 chart.
- Enable algorithmic trading in MetaTrader 5.
- Verify the six broker-symbol assignments in the inputs.
- Test the EA on a demo account or in the Strategy Tester before live use.
- Use only one Breakouter instance per trading account.
A stable connection and a suitable VPS environment are recommended for continuous operation.
Breakouter requires no DLL, no WebRequest, no external indicators, no external signals and no additional INI or CSV file. The default configuration is already included in the EA.
Real-Tick Reference Test
The following figures are taken from a historical MetaTrader 5 Strategy Tester simulation using real ticks.

These figures describe only the displayed historical test. Changes in market selection, broker conditions, spreads, commissions, leverage or account size can produce materially different results.
Historical backtests are hypothetical simulations. They do not reproduce every aspect of live execution and do not forecast future performance.
Additional Real-Tick Test Using 1% Risk per Trade
As an additional test, Breakouter was evaluated over the same period and the same six markets using dynamic position sizing.

Test Result
- Total trades: 4,793
- Net profit in the test: 64,477.93
- Profit factor: 1.93
- Winning trades: 75.26%
- Maximum relative balance drawdown: 22.92%
- Maximum relative equity drawdown: 26.62%
- Minimum margin level: 532.02%
The almost identical trade count, winning percentage and comparable profit factor show that the same trading logic was used. The substantially higher net profit resulted primarily from dynamic position sizing and compounding as the account balance increased. At the same time, drawdown and margin usage increased compared with the Minimum Broker Lot test.
This variant is considerably more aggressive than Minimum Broker Lot. A setting of 1% risk per trade is not a 1% total-risk limit for the account. When several positions are opened simultaneously, their individual risks can overlap within the portfolio.
The 1% test is therefore published as additional evidence for the dynamic risk mode. The Minimum Broker Lot test remains the more conservative reference, and the public live monitoring will initially use the smallest available lot size.
This test is also a hypothetical historical simulation. It is neither an expected return nor a recommendation to use this risk setting on a live account.
MQL5 Live Monitoring
A new and separate real account was deliberately opened for the release of Breakouter. This account runs only the final Breakouter version using the smallest available lot size.
The monitoring contains no previous trading history, no other Expert Advisors and no additional manual trading strategies. This is intended to keep the account history clearly attributable to Breakouter.

The monitoring is provided for transparent observation of the account history. Using the Expert Advisor does not require subscribing to or copying this Signal. The monitoring duration and current number of trades are displayed directly on the MQL5 Signal page.
Results from a real account also provide no guarantee of future performance.
Capital, Margin and Leverage
Breakouter was developed as a parallel multi-market portfolio. Several pending orders and open positions may therefore exist at the same time. Available margin is particularly important for operating the complete portfolio.
The reference test deliberately used 1:500 leverage. With the same minimum lot sizes, the higher leverage primarily reduces the margin required by the simultaneously operating portfolio. It does not automatically increase the profit or loss produced by an identical position for the same price movement.
For the complete portfolio in Minimum Broker Lot mode, an initial deposit of 4,000 was used under the tested 1:500 broker conditions. This figure is not a universal capital guarantee and cannot be transferred directly to different leverage levels or symbol specifications.
European retail accounts are often restricted to leverage of approximately 1:30. Under such conditions, the same combination of minimum lots and parallel positions can require several times more margin.
The 4,000 account used in the reference test therefore cannot be transferred directly to a 1:30 account.
Users operating with lower leverage require either substantially more capital or must disable individual markets after performing their own tests. If markets are disabled, or orders cannot be opened because of insufficient margin, the trading sequence will no longer correspond to the published six-market reference test.
Breakouter is therefore primarily intended for experienced users and professional trading environments where leverage, margin usage, parallel positions and possible drawdowns are understood and actively monitored.
Before Live Trading
Before using real capital, every user should:
- verify the availability and correct assignment of all broker symbols
- perform a complete test using the intended broker specifications
- account for spreads, commissions, swaps and execution quality
- monitor the margin usage of the complete portfolio
- observe the selected risk setting on a demo account first
- use only capital whose loss would be financially sustainable
