Trade Station for MetaTrader 5
Plan the trade. Check the risk. Send and manage it from one visual panel.
Trade Station is a manual trade-management utility for MetaTrader 5. It is made for discretionary traders who already have their own market idea and want a cleaner way to turn that idea into an order: draw the setup on the chart, let the panel calculate the volume from risk, read the validation strip, and send only when the plan is ready.
It does not generate signals and does not trade on its own. The trader makes the decision; Trade Station helps with execution, risk display, order validation and position management.
Why traders use it
- Visual plan before execution - entry, stop loss, take profit and TP2 are visible on the chart before the order is sent.
- Risk-based volume calculation - lot size is calculated from Risk% and stop distance, then rounded to the broker lot step.
- RR-linked take profit - when TP is connected to RR, moving the stop can update the target automatically.
- TP2 for both account models - hedging accounts use a separate TP2 order; netting accounts use one position with automatic partial close at TP2.
- Pre-send validation - the strip tells you why a send is ready, risky or blocked before you click.
- Safety controls - Lock, Daily Loss Guard, committed-risk checks and STOP NOW help reduce accidental sends.
- Post-entry management - Break-even and Trailing Stop automation can manage the stop while the EA is running.
Typical workflow
- Attach Trade Station to a chart.
- Choose Risk% and RR.
- Drag Entry, SL, TP and optional TP2 directly on the chart.
- Check the lot, risk, reward and validation strip.
- Send the order, then manage the position from the same panel.
Supported
- Platform: MetaTrader 5.
- Account types: netting and hedging.
- Markets: Forex, Metals, Crypto, Energy and other CFDs with workable lot steps.
- Product type: Utility / trade-management panel for manual trading.
Important notes
- Trade Station is not a signal robot and not an automatic strategy.
- It is not suitable for full interaction inside the MetaTrader Strategy Tester because the tester does not handle chart-object mouse interaction like a live chart.
- Automation such as BE, TS and netting TP2 partial close works only while the EA is attached, AutoTrading is enabled and MetaTrader is running.
- Daily Loss Guard blocks new trades; it does not automatically close existing positions.
- On unusual or exotic contract specifications, verify position sizing on a practice account before live trading.
- On some whole-lot index symbols, TP can step visibly while dragging SL with TP linked to RR. Set TP manually on those symbols.
Roadmap
- Next version: multi-language interface.
- Planned later: broader index handling, optional auto-close at the daily limit, more TP legs / partial-close steps, fixed-cash and equity-percent sizing modes, and more trailing styles.
Support
Use the product Comments and private messages on MQL5. Diagnostic logging can be enabled if support asks for a log.
