Relentless Trade Journal — Free Trade Statistics for MetaTrader 5
Most trade journals flatter you. They add up your closing profits and skip the commission you paid on entry, so they show a rosier number than the truth. You think you are breaking even when you are actually losing to costs.
Relentless Trade Journal shows you the honest picture, right on your chart.
It is a non-trading utility. It never opens, closes, or modifies a trade. It only reads your closed trade history and displays your real performance.
What it shows, for the period you choose (today, this week, this month, or all history):
- Number of trades, with wins and losses
- Win rate
- Net profit or loss, after commission and swap, which is your true bottom line
- Profit factor
- Average win and average loss
- Expectancy per trade
- Total fees and swap paid
- Best and worst trade
Why it is different:
Most journals sum only the closing deals and quietly miss the commission booked on the entry. This one aggregates every deal per position, including profit, commission, swap, and fee, so the net figure counts every cost. That is the number that actually matters: what your trading did to your account after the venue took its share.
This matters more than it sounds. A set of trades can be slightly positive on price movement and still be a net loss once fees and swap are counted. A costs-blind journal hides that. This one shows it, so you can see whether your edge survives your costs.
How to use it:
- Attach it to a chart, on its own chart.
- Choose the period in the inputs.
- Read your real numbers.
Notes:
- This is an information tool. It does not trade and it does not give advice.
- No performance or profit claims are made or implied. Trading involves risk.
- It reads only your own account history, on your own terminal.
It is free. If it helps you see your trading more clearly, a rating or review is appreciated and helps other traders find it. For questions or feature requests, send me a message.
