Important Logic Notes
- This is an account-level protection utility, not a trading system
- It should be attached to one chart only per account
- It can affect trades opened manually or by other EAs on the same account
- Total drawdown is calculated from the highest equity peak
- Consecutive losses are counted by completed trades, not fragmented exit deals
- Reset clears the blocked state and rebuilds the protection baseline from the current moment
- Under Close losing positions only, positions that survive the trigger remain open until manually managed
- After a trigger, new trades or blocked-session additions are still restricted
- In netting accounts, adding to an existing blocked position may cause the full net position to be closed
Daily Loss Logic
Daily loss is calculated from the active daily protection baseline. Closed trade results are always included. Floating P/L can be
included or excluded through settings.
Total Drawdown Logic
Total drawdown is based on the highest historical equity peak, not on balance. This gives a more realistic picture of real-time
account risk.
Why It Matters
Stop loss protects individual trades. Risk Guardian Pro MT5 protects the account.
When multiple positions, multiple EAs or manual interventions are involved, the real risk is no longer isolated to one order. This
