Prop Firm Risk Guardian MT5 — pass the risk rules, not just the profit target.
Most prop-firm challenges are failed not because you can't trade — but because one bad day or a single oversized position breaches the daily or overall drawdown limit. Prop Firm Risk Guardian is a lightweight monitoring utility that enforces those limits for you, automatically, 24/5.
It is a pure protection tool. It never opens trades, sends no signals, and makes no profit promises. It simply keeps your account inside the limits you set — and it keeps the lock after a terminal restart or VPS reconnect.
What it guards
- Daily drawdown lock — equity drawdown from your prop day-start equity or the day's high (your choice). Breach → auto-close and/or block new trades.
- Overall drawdown lock — total drawdown against a configurable initial balance (auto-captured or entered to match your challenge size). Manual-release only.
- Per-trade & total open-risk lock — reads each position's stop-loss and computes real % risk; locks if a single trade or your combined risk exceeds the limit. No-stop-loss trades are flagged.
- Projected-loss / headroom guard — used loss + open SL-risk; warns (or blocks new orders) before you hit the wall.
- Prop timezone & session control — aligns the trading day to your prop firm's timezone and restricts trading to your session window.
- Spread guard — closes newly opened orders when the spread spikes above your threshold.
- Symbol filter — in multi-strategy accounts, apply open-risk / session / spread rules to selected symbols only. (Account-level daily & overall drawdown always covers the whole account.)
- Consecutive-loss lock (optional, off by default) — stops revenge trading after N losses in a row.
Live risk dashboard
A draggable on-chart panel shows a Risk Snapshot (Daily DD, Overall DD, Open Risk, Equity), live limit-usage bars, an evaluation tracker (profit %, trading days, profitable days, consistency), and a big status badge that always reflects your single most important state:

Terminal pop-up, mobile push and email on every state change, debounced to one alert per event.
Locks that hold
Daily / risk / consecutive locks auto-clear at your next prop day and can be manually released (into a clearly-marked OVERRIDE state, so a cleared limit doesn't snap back on). Overall lock is manual-release only. All lock state persists across restart / VPS reconnect.
