Important: TradeBridge EA is part of a 2-stage system built specifically for the MyFXRoom trading community. It will not function as a standalone EA. Overview
TradeBridge EA is a professional automated execution layer for MetaTrader 5. It connects to the MyFXRoom Bridge application and converts incoming trade alerts into live executed positions — applying your personal risk rules, protecting your account, and managing positions through to closure.
This EA does not generate its own signals. It receives validated trade instructions from the Bridge and handles everything from execution to position monitoring, giving you hands-free trade management with full control over your risk exposure.
How It Works
- The MyFXRoom Bridge application receives trade alerts and sends instructions to MetaTrader 5
- TradeBridge EA validates the incoming trade data and checks all risk filters
- If the trade passes validation, it is executed automatically with the correct lot size, Stop Loss, and Take Profit
- The EA monitors the position throughout its lifecycle and handles closures, modifications, and protection events

- Indices — US30, NAS100, SPX500, GER40, UK100, JP225 and more
- Crypto — BTC, ETH, XRP, LTC, ADA, DOT, DOGE, SOL and more
Automatic broker symbol detection handles suffixes such as .r , .m , and .pro without any manual configuration.
Risk Management
Account-Level Protection
- 8 selectable risk levels from Micro (0.0625%) to Aggressive (2.5%)
- Daily loss limit — trading halts automatically when your defined daily loss percentage is reached
- Equity drawdown protection — all positions close if equity drops below a defined percentage from the session high
- Maximum position cap — limits the number of concurrent open trades
Trade-Level Protection
- Maximum spread filter — blocks execution when the spread exceeds your defined threshold
- Slippage control — limits execution slippage on every order
- Alert age filter — rejects stale alerts older than a specified number of seconds, preventing delayed execution on outdated signals
Stop Loss Protection System
TradeBridge EA includes a multi-layered Stop Loss protection system to guard against broker-side rejection and human error.
- Software Stop Loss — if a broker rejects the Stop Loss at order placement, the EA monitors price on every tick and closes the position if the Stop Loss level is reached
- Missing Stop Loss Detection — alerts you immediately if any open position is found without a Stop Loss attached
- SL/TP Restoration — if Stop Loss or Take Profit levels are manually modified on an open position, the EA can automatically restore them to the original values (optional, configurable)
End-of-Day Auto Close
- Automatically closes Forex, Metals, and Index positions at a configurable New York time
- Cryptocurrency positions are excluded — crypto markets run 24/7 and are not subject to end-of-day closure
- Uses an external time API to determine accurate New York time regardless of your broker's server timezone
- Operates Monday through Friday only
Telegram Alerts (Optional)
Connect your personal Telegram bot to receive real-time notifications for:
- Trade executions and closures
- Broker rejections
- Missing Stop Loss warnings
- Daily loss limit reached
- Software Stop Loss activations
- End-of-Day position closures

Requirements
- MetaTrader 5 build 2755 or later
- MyFXRoom Bridge application (companion software, provided separately — see author profile)
- The following URLs must be whitelisted in MT5 under Tools → Options → Expert Advisors → Allow WebRequest:
- https://127.0.0.1:7878 — Bridge communication
- http://worldtimeapi.org — End-of-Day time sync
