Eye of Providence

is a visual market-monitoring indicator that displays multiple trading instruments and timeframes within a single chart window.

Developed using MQL5, the indicator transforms historical price data into a structured dashboard featuring custom candlesticks or price dots. Each row represents a symbol, while each column represents a selected timeframe. This arrangement allows traders to examine recent market behavior across several instruments and timeframes without continually opening and closing charts.

  • Flexible layout: Adjust the spacing, cell dimensions, fonts, borders, and chart-position offsets to suit your workspace.

  • Historical-data awareness: Receive an alert when insufficient historical bars are available for the configured dashboard.

  • Reduced chart clutter: The indicator hides the chart's conventional price scale, time scale, grid, and standard chart candles to prioritize the dashboard.

How to Use

  1. Attach Eye of Providence to a MetaTrader 5 chart.

  2. Choose whether to populate the dashboard from Market Watch or enter instruments manually in CustomSymbols.

  3. Enable the timeframes you want to monitor and configure the number of bars shown for each timeframe.

  4. Select either custom candlesticks or price dots.

  5. Customize bullish, bearish, and volume colors, including palette animation if desired.

  6. Click a symbol's timeframe cell to open or activate its corresponding chart.

  7. Review the dashboard alongside your preferred technical analysis and risk-management tools before making trading decisions.

Trading Purpose

Eye of Providence is designed to support market scanning, multi-timeframe comparison, and faster chart navigation. It can help traders notice potential directional differences, changing candle structures, and shifts in tick-volume activity across a watchlist.

The dashboard is an observational tool, not an automated trading system. It does not independently determine high-probability entries, guarantee trend continuation, or establish whether a trade is profitable.

Limitations and Important Notes

  • No trade execution: The indicator does not automatically place, manage, or close trades.

  • No guaranteed signals: Bullish and bearish candle colors describe the relationship between a candle's closing and opening prices; they do not predict the next move.

  • Tick volume is not centralized market volume: For many Forex instruments, the displayed volume represents broker-provided tick activity rather than total global traded volume.

  • Historical data is essential: Missing bars can leave parts of the dashboard incomplete until additional history is available.

  • Display space is limited: If too many symbols or timeframes are selected, the indicator may display only the first rows or columns that fit the chart window.

  • Color animation is cosmetic: Animated palettes improve visual customization but do not add predictive information to price data.

  • Broker symbol names vary: Instruments in CustomSymbols must match the names used by your broker, including any suffixes or prefixes.

  • Not a substitute for risk management: Confirm trade setups, spreads, execution conditions, and position sizing independently.

Recommended use: Treat Eye of Providence as a visual command center for market observation. Use it to organize your attention, then investigate promising instruments on their individual charts before committing capital.
