Risk and operating considerations
Backtests do not predict future returns. Losing trades and drawdowns occur, and spreads, costs, leverage and execution can materially change results. The daily-loss control is a strategy-level trigger, not a guaranteed or account-wide loss ceiling, and does not capture every cost. Restarting can reset in-memory controls; unsuccessful risk-reduction actions require monitoring and are not automatically retried once the loss trigger is latched.
